Chapter 8 Recapturing Trost District

Author's note: Someone asked me who's the Protagonist and the Antagonist in this story. It depends on how you see it like how Isayama wrote Attack on Titan.

Like how Isayama wrote the Manga, there don't seem to be right or wrongs. Only different perspectives. People say Eren is the Antagonist because he is Mass Murdering People. Some are okay with it and they believe it is right because it was the only way to save Paradis while others say the Alliance are doing the right thing. Yes, Mass Murder is bad unless there is a good reason for doing it like how Eren ssacrificed the people of the outside world for his friends and the people of Paradis.

Y/N and the others were lined up by Kitz Weilman and the other High Ranking Officers of the Garrison.

"Staff Officers, Assemble! Prepare to strategize!" Pixis shouted from above the wall and all the Officers climbed up the wall

The soldiers heard about what was happening and Y/N heard them talking to each other.

"A plan to recapture Trost District?!"

"You're kidding me!"

"As if we have the technology to plug that hole in the gate!"

"What are the higher-ups thinking?!"

"Isn't entering Trost District suicide?"

"But all we can do is defend Wall Rose's gate since the hole can't be sealed..."

"Damn it. Have they starved for glory?!"

"To be forced back to that hell. No, I don't want to die! Let me see my family!" Daz shouted covering his head

"Hey, shut up, you damned bastard!" Y/N slapped the back of Daz' head because Daz scared the shit out of him

"Hey, Daz! You're being too loud!" Marco said

"You there! I heard that!" An officer that was left on the ground said

He walked towards Daz angrily

"Are you planning to abandon your duty?!" He asks Daz

"Yes, that's right! There's nothing more to be gained from this mass suicide mission!" Daz shouted

"How dare you make a mockery of mankind and order?! I'll have you know I have the authority to execute you right on the spot!" The officer said holding the handle of his blade

"Fine by me. That would be a hundred times better than being devoured by a Titan!" Daz said

"Stop, Daz!" Marco stops Daz from grabbing his blade

"Get off! Don't touch me! I'm not going back there!" Daz shouted

Y/N looked around and he heard people starting to talk to each other

"Hey, did you hear that?"

"Given the situation, it's not surprising."

"Hey, I wonder if someone will rebel here too."

"I also want to die on my own terms."

"Hey, you two!" An officer called them

"I-I was just joking!"

"Do it!"

"Huh?"

"Make a real scene. With as many people as you can. Many of us in the Garrison aren't in agreement too. We'll take advantage of the chaos and escape."
