a couple of weeks had passed and jeonghan had gotten a job as a cashier at a convenience store and after he had gotten home from work that day they were just talking

"very long, i actually stopped having sex with other people" the older admitted after jisoo had asked him when was the last time he had sex with someone that wasn't him

"why?" jisoo asked trying not to sound too curious

jeonghan didn't know what to reply so he just took a breath from his blunt and closed his eyes feeling it hit

the younger stared at him and then at his blunt quietly before speaking "i want to try that" he said seriously

the other widened his eyes slightly but nodded and showed him how to grab it before handing it to him

"just take a deep breath and exhale after a couple of seconds" he said

jisoo nodded trying to hide his nervousness and stared at it for a few seconds before placing it on his mouth and taking a deep breath with his eyes closed

as soon as he took a breath he immediately coughed "fu- fuck, shit" he said while coughing violently and making a pained expression

jeonghan couldn't contain his giggles "that's normal, just try again" he said

jisoo could finally stop coughing feeling his throat burn, he stared at the blunt and took a few breaths of fresh air before trying again

he inhaled deeply and resisted the urge to cough again as he kept it in his mouth for a few seconds, not being sure if he should swallow or not, he just opened his moth as if he was whistling and let it escape

"you can swallow it or blow it up but i never swallow, it's pointless anyway" jeonghan said

"how is this supposed to make me feel good?" the other asked referring to what he just did

"this is weed, and you just took one hit, it's not nicotine, it's what comes next that makes you feel good, although if you decide to get high right now i have to warn you, since you've never been drunk, it could get scary if you get too high" he explained and giggled at the last part

"why don't you drink?" jisoo asked sounding unbothered

"i'm a stoner, people tend to mix us up but trust me, we're way different, plus, drinking is boring for me if i'm not high" the other replied

"i want to get high" the younger said

"well i've been saving up these mushrooms because i had no one to do them with and being alone while doing it makes it less fun for me" jeonghan said

"mushrooms? when we were in high school, our chemistry teacher told us never to do mushrooms, that they really fuck with your mind and make you forget everything, like going into another dimension" jisoo replied in amusement

"so you don't want to do them?" the older asked

"i'm saying the exact opposite" the other replied

just an hour later, jisoo was already giggling non-stop "why is your face moving so weirdly?" he asked and started laughing

jeonghan joined his laughter "you're so high right now" he said and gulped as he stared at the floor which was on fire wondering why he wasn't burning

jisoo widened his eyes as he stared at the door "what- where? where did the door go?" he said and stood up in fear and walked over to the door and frowned "why did you run away door?" he asked and turned to look at jeonghan but instead saw his mom

"mom go away, i want jeonghan right now" he said

his mom shook her head and looked at him disappointedly "look what you've become" she said "this is what happens when god isn't in your life"

jisoo groaned "fuck you mom, fuck you so much, i hate you" he said angrily and then ran away and smiled "i didn't know i could walk on ceilings" he said since he was standing on the ceiling and the floor was the ceiling

he hopped and fell to the floor which wasn't the ceiling anymore and groaned "ow" he said and then spotted jeonghan on top of the dinosaur he didn't know was there before

jeonghan looked at him and furrowed his eyebrows "i'm not your mom and i told you to leave me alone" he said

jisoo lifted an eyebrow wondering when jeonghan told him to leave him alone and noticed the ceiling was gone and he could only see the night sky when he looked up making him smile "so pretty" he whispered

the older stared at him and let out an angry sigh "yes i'm gay, what about it? are you going to torture me again? that won't make me any less gay" he said and showed him his middle finger

jisoo stopped looking at the shooting stars on the sky and reacted to jeonghan saying that "i like men too, i've thought that for a long time" he giggled "even when my dad beat me all night long and locked me in the basement until i said i liked girls"

he widened his eyes at the cat flying above the moon and then continued "or when she made a whole church gathering just to cure me from my sickness and made the whole church pray for me as the reverend drowned me in holy water" he said

jeonghan smiled "wait a second, you're not hyunmin, you're jisoo" he said

"i'm jeonghan" jisoo said and looked at him seriously

"that's right, i'm jisoo" jeonghan replied  "i didn't know that i went through that, i went through conversion therapy, didn't i?" he asked
