Next Morning

You wake up to see that Charli and Mads are gone. You had downstairs and see them in the kitchen.

Mads and Charli: morning
Y/n: good morning. what's that smell?
Mads: I'm making pancakes
Y/n: ooo yum

Just then you get a text from Josh.

Texts: 
Josh: hey I was wondering if you wanted to hangout today just the two of us
Y/n: of course I would love too!
Josh: great! I will pick you up at your house at 12 and we will go out for lunch
Y/n: ok sounds good see you then!
End of texts

You look up from your phone will a big smile on your face.

Charlie: why are you so happy?
Y/n: Josh just asked if I wanted to spend the day with him just the two of us!!
Mads: ooo your going on a date
Y/n: he never said it was a date. plus we aren't even dating
Charli: yeah but you did both confess your feelings for each other so I'm counting this as a date
Mads: same. anyway the pancakes are ready
Y/n: ooo yay

You guys eat breakfast then you go upstairs to Mads room do your morning routine then head back to your house to get ready for you day with Josh. When you get home you go upstairs and get another text from Josh.

Texts:
Josh: wear a bathing suit
Y/n: ok will do!

You change into this:

You then get a text from Josh saying he's outside, so you go outside and see him leaning against his car on his phone. You looks up from his phone and smiles at you.

Josh: hey y/n you look gorgeous
Y/n: thanks Joshy but I'm in a swimsuit and a t-shirt
Josh: yeah but you look gorgeous in whatever you wear
Y/n: awww thank you Joshy
Josh: your welcome (he kisses you on the cheek)

He then opens the door for you and you get in he then goes to his side of the car and drives off.

Josh: where do you want to eat for lunch
Y/n: in and out!
Josh: I figured (he chuckled)
Y/n: what can I say I love in and out
Josh: yeah I know we went there all time last year after school
Y/n: yep every Friday

The whole car ride you guys just talked about random things. After you got your in an out you guys ate it in car and then Josh drove to the beach.

Y/n: ooo yay the beach
Josh: I know how much you love the beach
Y/n: that is true I do love the beach
Josh: let's go!

Josh go out of the car and went to your side he then grabbed your hand and pulled you to the sand. You took of your clothes and you noticed Josh staring at you.

Y/n: hey eyes up hear buddy!
Josh: sorry you are just so damn beautiful
Y/n: why thank you Joshy and by the way that is the second time you complemented me today
Josh: oh so your counting now
Y/n: maybe

He then picks you up and throws you over his shoulder as he walks towards the water.

Y/n: Josh don't even think about!

He then throws you in water making you all wet.

Josh: too late
Y/n: Josh!!
Josh: haha

You then went up to him and put your hands on his chest and pushed him into the water.

Y/n: haha

He then pulls you in with him and you guys start splashing each other. He then grabs your waist and pulls you closer to him and kisses you and you kiss back. After a couple of minutes you both pull away.

Y/n: I'm going to go lay out and tan
Josh: ok I'll be there in a few minutes

You nod then go to where you put your stuff and layer down on a towel. A few minutes later you feel someone on top of you. You looks down to see who it is.

Y/n: Josh I'm trying to get tan!
Josh: you know your a really comfy pillow
Y/n: Josh!
Josh: y/n summer just ended your still pretty tan now let me sleep!
Y/n: fine

You just lay there and play with his hair for like 30 minutes until he wakes up from his little nap. Once he wakes up he looks at you and gives you a peck on the lips.

Y/n: hey you
Josh: hey, we probably should be getting back we have school tomorrow
Y/n: yeah your probably right

You guys get up and get your stuff and head back to the car with your hands tangled together. You guys get in the car and he drives back to your house.

Y/n: thanks for the amazing day Josh
Josh: no problem I loved spending the day with you

You gave him a quick peck on the lips and get out of the car.

Josh: I'll drive you to school tomorrow
Y/n: ok sounds good see you tomorrow

You walk inside your house and see your parents at the kitchen counter.

Dad: where have you been?!
Y/n: with Josh at the beach
Mom: Josh is a good kid but you don't need any distractions right now. you need to focus on school
Y/n: I get straight a's I don't know what more you want from me!
Dad: we want for you to go to college like your brother
Y/n: I'm not having this conversation with you right now I have already had it too many times

You storm up to your room and lock the door.

Y/n's POV: if they only knew that Bryce isn't even in college he's TikTok famous living in LA! But I promised Bryce I wouldn't tell them. I just don't understand why the can't just leave me alone.

You then go in the shower and then change into something comfy then watch Netflix in your room until you fell asleep. You didn't even go downstairs for dinner.
