You are in your room when your parents call you to come down stairs.

Y/n: yeah what's up?
Mom: we are going out to dinner with the Richards in an hour so get ready
Y/n: ok

You go upstairs and get ready

Then you call Charli and Mads

On FaceTime:
Y/n: hey
Charli: hey y/n
Mads: hi
Charli: why are you so dressed up
Y/n: me and my family are going out to dinner with the Richards
Mads: why don't you seem happy about it
Y/n: it's just that things are awkward between us right now and now I have to sit through a dinner with him
Charli: just talk to Olivia instead
Y/n: yeah I guess so
Mom: y/n come downstairs we're leaving!! (yelling)
Y/n: guys I have to go
Charli: ok bye
Mads: tell us what happens at dinner
Y/n: I will bye guys
End of FaceTime

You go downstairs and leave to go to the restaurant, when you arrive at the restaurant the Richards are getting out of there car so your family goes over to say hi to them.

Josh: hey y/n (hugging me)
Y/n: hi Josh
Olivia: y/n!!
Y/n: Liv!!

You both hugged each other

Josh: wow you didn't give that reaction when you saw me
Y/n: that's because I see you all the time
Olivia: yeah Josh
Will: hi y/n!
Y/n: hi Will!
Mrs. Richards: come on kids let's go inside and eat

You guys go inside and order your food, you and Josh are talking then his phone rings. You are sitting between Josh and Olivia by the way.

Josh: I will be right back
Y/n: ok
Olivia: soo you and Josh
Y/n: what about me and Josh
Olivia: I know you like him, I see the way you look at him
Y/n: ok fine I do like him but he doesn't like me back so I just have to push my feelings aside
Olivia: what are you talking about, of course he likes you
Y/n: no he doesn't, he's with Nessa
Olivia: ugh I hate that bitch
Y/n: same
Olivia: wait, does he know that you and Nick broke up
Y/n: I don't think so, but how did you know I never told you
Olivia: oh Mads came over yesterday with Jaden when you and Charli were at dance and Mads told me. I don't know where Quinton was
Y/n: oh
Olivia: anyway maybe that's why he's with Nessa to make you jealous because he thinks your with Nick
Y/n: I don't know maybe
Olivia: I think you should tell him that you and Nick broke up
Y/n: maybe, I'll think about it
Olivia: why wouldn't you tell him
Y/n: he will kill Nick if he finds out why we broke up and Nick and I might not be on the best terms but I still don't want anything to happen to him
Olivia: I guess that's true
Y/n: now shut up because he's coming back
Y/n's POV: Josh comes back, sits down and doesn't say anything. He doesn't even look at me which is really weird because I thought we were all good now. Like we were talking before and he seemed fine until he got the phone call, weird.

The rest of dinner he was just quite so I just talked to Olivia. Then it was time to go home. When I got home I went upstairs to my room and took a shower and changed into something comfy. Then I watched some Netflix and went to bed.

Next morning:

I wake up by someone jumping on me.

Charli: wake up y/n!!
Y/n: Charli it's too early
Charli: it's almost 12
Y/n: still too early
Charli: come on!! the group is meeting up at Mads house so get ready
Y/n: fine but get out so I can get ready
Charli: ok I'll meet you downstairs
Y/n: ok

You change and do your morning routine the head downstairs.
You change into this:

Y/n: ok I'm ready and I'm driving
Charli: good because I didn't bring my car
Y/n: then let's go

You guys get in the car and drive to Mads house. When you get there you get out of the car and walk in.

Y/n: we are here!!
Mads: hey!!
Jaden: hey y/n (hugs you) hey Charli (hugs Charli)
Quinton: hey guys (hugs both of you)
Charli: where's Josh
Mads: oh he should be here soon
Y/n: cool
Mads: so how was the dinner with Josh and his family yesterday?
Y/n: good but kind of awkward and he was acting weird
Quinton: how was he acting weird?
Y/n: well in the beginning of dinner he was fine but then he got a phone call and when he came back he would barely acknowledge me
Charli: weird
Y/n: yeah
Mads: are you ever going to tell him you like him
Y/n: nope
Charli: what why not
Y/n: because he doesn't like me and if he found out that I like him when he doesn't like me back I don't know what I would do
Jaden: ummm y/n
Y/n's POV: I turn around a see Josh standing at the door, I don't know what to do so I just run out the door shoving past him getting in my car and driving to the beach, it's the only place I like to go to think. I get there and I go sit in a bench and just look at the ocean. I sit there for a few minutes until someone sits next to me.
