"Steven!" I gasped. He was stuck kneeling, he was chained to the floor by his neck so if he tried to escape he'd strangle himself. He looked abseloutely terrified and really tired. his nose was bleeding and he skin was deathly pale.
"GET THAT OFF HIS NECK NOW!" I shouted
"Ugh, fine!" Zach whined, rolling his eyes. The chain disappeared from Steven's neck and tried desperately to run over to me.
He was still stuck.
A portal appeared beside Zach, he stepped in and appeared behind steven, giving him a menacing grin.

"Go on buddy, She's right infront of you, what's the matter? Are you stuck?" Zach sneered. "Z-Zach stop...please, I'm sorry" Steven begged.
"Sorry for what." He spat back
Steven didn't respond.
" SORRY FOR WHAT! TELL HER!" He shouted.
"You know why I can't, and besides, there's no point in telling her, it's not important," Steven said quietly.
Zach looked furious and disgusted like Steven was a dead rat.
"NOT IMPORTANT! IT'S NOT IMPORTANT! YESTERDAY YOU BEGGED FOR ME TO STAY IN YOUR FUSION AND NOW IT'S JUST NOT IMPORTANT!"
The floor cracked beneath him when he yelled "I have suffered for 16 years for you, hidden whilst you took all the praise for being a diamond, using my gem for your success! DIAMOND ISNT EVEN YOUR NAME, IT'S MINE!"
"What?" I said, confused and shocked.
"HE IS STEVEN QUARTZ UNIVERSE! THATS HIS NAME NOT MINE! MY NAME IS ZACH DIAMOND, JUST LIKE WHITE, YELLOW AND BLUE DIAMOND, HE'S NOT A NOT EVEN A FRIGGIN' DIAMOND!" Zach raged but I just stood there, now also disgusted.
"Steven, is that true?" I asked, my voice trembling
"I was going to tell you I jus-" I cut him off
"Why would you do that! That's horrible!" I cried.
"(Y/n), please I-"
Steven stopped when he felt someone press something cold and thin against his neck.
That someone was Zach.
And that something was a knife.
Zach sighed as if to say 'I warned you and looked straight at me.
"He won't remember this dream, but you will. If you ever need me I'll be there, hidden in the mask of a hybrid. Go now, it was a pleasure meeting you, (y/n)"
A portal opened on the floor behind me, causing me to stand on the edge.
"Bye Zach...see you soon, I guess," I said. Zach grinned and looked at Steven, who still had a knife against his neck.
I fell backwards into the portal and the last thing I heard was an agonising scream and the laugh of a maniac.

I sat up on my bed, breathing heavily.
Wait, if Zach just killed Steven in lucid then-
I dragged on a top and jeans, picking up my phone and bolting through the door. I needed to find Steven's room now! Before I got to the end of the hall, someone grabbed my shoulder.
"Hey, hey! Woah, are you okay?"
It was Steven. He was standing in the doorway of a kitchen, Spinel sitting behind him eating cereal. I took a deep breath and asked:
"I'm fine, what did you dream about last night?"
"Oh me? Ummm..." He scratched the back of his neck. "I remember now! I dreamt about the diamonds!" He exclaimed.
Zach was right; Steven couldn't remember anything.
"Oh! Your eyes! They're a lovely brown colour!" I replied with.
"Yeah, they've always been that colour. (Y/n), are you okay? You seem confused"
Me, confused! Please!
"It's nothing, I'm going for a walk" I huffed, turned and walked away.
"Clueless, isn't he?" Steven said, his voice deeper than before.
I turned back around to see him smirking at me, his eyes pink with a diamond in each.
