"Hello, this is Lalisa from National Suicide Prevention Helpline. How may I-" A sweet dulcet of a woman greeted through the phone, but abruptly halted midway when she heard sobs and uneven breathing from the other end of the line.
"Hi...I'm Jeon Jungkook. And I.....I have tried to kill myself....for a while lately." He responded back in a shaky voice.
"Hey, I know you're in an appalling situation right now. But I am here to help, Jungkook. I promise I won't leave you alone." He felt the voice soften a little, that somehow finally calmed him down.
A very little, but at least he wasn't hyperventilating at the moment.
