I look at the times on the and realize that the first two were both from before I turned off my phone, but that the most recent one was more recent than Harry’s last text. I debate trying to call Niall because his text isn’t that old, but then I receive another text from the final sender: Louis Tomlinson.

8:33PM - ‘Go look at Liam’s twitter.’

8:36PM - ‘Don’t forget that we’re going early to that meeting with management on Thursday night.’

8:42PM - ‘Zayniepoo, we got lotsa work to do~ hey! That rhymed!’

8:49PM - ‘Can you please text Hazza and tell him that he’s not my mother and he doesn’t need to calm me down?’

9:14PM - ‘Why is your phone off? Your phone is never off.’

9:18PM - ‘I just realized how stupid it was for me to text you to ask why your mobile is turned off. Whoops.’

9:30PM - ‘You told me you were going to the movies tonight. I forgot. Have fun!’

9:32PM - ‘Wait, you went to Batman without me? Rude. </3’

9:51PM - ‘Harry told me I need to stop texting you, but I told him that OSN is too important for that.’

9:52PM - ‘OSN is Operation Save Niam, in case you forgot.’

9:53PM - ‘You agree with me that OSN is important enough for me to spam you, right?’

10:47PM - ‘Harry just made me watch an episode of Community. Have you ever heard of that show?’

10:57PM - ‘Harry said I can only text you every 10 minutes if I insist on texting you…’

11:07PM - ‘The movie should be almost over now, right? If it is, call me or Haz.’

11:47PM - ‘Okay, I watched another episode of Community. It’s funny. Is Batman over yet? Don’t tell me about it.’

11:57PM - ‘YUNo text back yet? Call me. Or come to my flat. Actually come to my flat for tea and plotting.’

I laugh as I read all of Louis’ messages, knowing how much of a pain in the neck he must have been for Harry tonight. When Louis gets excited about something, it’s nearly impossible to calm him down until it’s all out of his system. This must be something huge if he was continuously texting me for over four hours…

I forget about calling the lads, choosing instead to speed back to the apartment building. I carefully park my car before heading into the building and up the lift until I reach Harry and Louis’ floor. I send a quick texting asking Louis if they’re still awake and wait for him to respond. Within seconds of my text sending, my phone goes off:

“Here we go one more time

Every-”

I end the call as quickly as I can, having recognized the ringtone I set for Louis, and then knock on their door. I wait patiently, listening to Louis yell for Harry to get the door. Less than a minute later, a certain curly-haired, young man is standing in front.

“Zayn! I wasn’t expecting you to actually show up,” he admits, smirking. “Come on in! Lou will be ecstatic to see you.”

I step through the open doorway and slip my shoes off, carefully placing them off to the side. “Well, Louis did text me to tell me to come over,” I point out, not entirely certain that Harry knew about that. “Speaking of which, I checked my phone and found a total of 25 missed texts and 2 missed calls by the time after I dropped off Abby. What the hell is so important that you all had to text me so much?”
