"AMELIA!" She heard someone yell as she and Lizzie walked through the gate.

She looked up from her sister towards the two girls, standing there, with a big sign with the words "Welcome Home" written in pink glitter, making her start chuckling.

"Allison! Lydia!" She yelled as she ran towards the two, leaving her suitcase and her sister behind as she hugged the two girls tightly.

Amelia and Lizzie had spent the entire summer with their cousins Dahlia up in Scotland, trying to look out for new seekers like her and Lizzie.

Seekers are these supernatural creature that are supposed to be protectors of other supernatural creatures such as werewolves. They are rumored to be extinct and replaced with Sealgairs, which are Seekers that refuse to make a connection with a supernatural creature.

Instead, they hunt them.

Seekers are from Scotland originally, so Amelia with her sister and cousin went there to the concentration of the supernatural, trying to look for them.

A lot of things happened during the trip that she prefers to forget, such as not finding absolutely anything except for a bunch of legends and bad alcohol.

But, she was back home, in Beacon Hills, California, after battling with creatures that wanted to kill her, training with her psycho cousin and spending hours in a library instead of partying. She was finally back.

And she just wished things could go back to their familiar weird crazy before she dies of boredom.

"Oh, my God," Lydia exclaimed towards Lizzie, who joined them with a smile. "You look older."

Lizzie chuckled. "I turned fifteen in Scotland and I had to deal with boredom there so, I'm ready for high school," mentioned the young protector as Lydia hugged her, the girl giggling. "Did you behave without me?"

"Oh, please." Lydia broke apart the hug. "With you three being gone all the summer the only thing I did was to try get tan and failed miserably. Now, us three." Lydia pointed at Allison and Amelia with a smile. "We are now officially entering junior year as single successful women while little Lizzie is finally entering high school."

Oh shit, forgot to mention that detail. Amelia and Stiles haven't talked in the whole summer.

The first few days started fine, but soon they started to lose contact, and later calls were minimal. She would receive a good night text in the middle of the night because of the different time zones, everything would be complicated. Until finally she stopped replying.

They didn't break up, they just... haven't talked, haven't discussed anything. She hasn't heard from him in a long time, even though she never forgot him. They just... stopped talking.
