it was late already when the photoshoot ended. they were having their concept photos taken and it took up a lot of time. 18 members, how many units and a lot of clothes to get changed into. the whole photoshop wasn't done yet, they were just done for the day because it was getting pretty late. a few more days to go to finally finish up with everything yet taehee was already tired.

i never even wanted to be part of this T__T. she thought

"thank you so much for your hard work today, taehee. you should rest up now since tomorrow is yet another busy day." another manager said and tapped her shoulder to cheer her up a little bit.

taehee was clearly tired. people said she was never really good at hiding her emotions and her weariness was clearly being seen right now on her face, which irritated jaehyun even more.

taehee does not know why the young man has a some sort of irking attitude towards her, no one else knows- not even jaehyun himself knows. he just knows that there's something about her that makes him want to torment her.

"don't make it look so obvious that you're tired of us cause it same goes to us." jaehyun told you, clicking his tongue as he passed by you.

you stood up straight trying to look alright, making yourself presentable and smiled at the other members that passed by.

"good bye! have a safe ride home! i wil see you all tomorrow." she bowed

"good night, taehee. we'll see you tomorrow." taeyong greeted her with a tired smile and messed her hair up

"hyung! my hair." she pouted too tired to fix her hair

"it looks fine." taeyong chuckled

"bye, taehee. get home safe!" doyoung side hugged her as the few others passed by ready to go home.

"you guys too, hyung. eat proper dinner before going to sleep." taehee waved as they all finally walked out the door

taehe was so ready to get home and sleep. just sleep. nothing else but sleep, but then...

"taehee!" another manager called out

"yes?" she asked, approcahing her

"i'm so sorry, honey. i know you're very tired but we're kind of behind on time so the other managers and i are gonna stay behind to finish some stuff. can you come and help us? even just for an extra hour we promise you can leave after that." the manager pleaded

taehee couldn't reject that. she was too nice and didn't wanna leave knowing other people were still going through a lot to finish a job she was part of.

"alright. i'll do my best!" taehee answered with spirit

"thank you so much, sweetheart. you can help us first by moving some of the clothes for tomorrow. over there."

"okay! i'll get on with it." taehee smiled and went to work.

to say that the one hour of help was a scam, is an understatement. everyone knew nothing was gonna get done in just an hour or a couple of few hours.

taehee was drained and getting even more drained as more tasks were given for her to do. from moving clothes to building props. from building props to moving lighting props. from moving lighting props to sticking backgrounds and from that to many more.

taehee also honestly didn't know why she was the only intern left there. she also did not know why she was always being called to do little to big things. and she also did not know how or when she fell asleep. all she knows is that a manager told her they could rest for a while then maybe they could go home. when she woke up it was already the next day.

she got woken up by some new noises coming from a lot of people. she realized it was a new day when the nct boys were back.

"good morning!" the nct boys greeted in different ways

taehee stood up from the floor not wanting anyone to see her. not because she didn't want anyone asking her to do anything, but because she was embarrassed. how could she fall asleep?? and on the floor??? bet she looks so ugly right now. those were her thoughts.

"taehee! where's taehee?!" the manager from last night was looking for her as she cursed internally

"taehee's here?" taeyong asked

"yes, i think she fell asleep here last night." the manager answerd

johnny snorted "why would she sleep here?" he asked

"was she that tired?" jaehyun asked with a roll of his eyes

"uhh i'm here. i was about to go freshen up..." taehee answered stepping out from where she was tiptoeing from

"oh yes! dear okay. i'm so sorry for keeping you here last night oh dear. but can you please go get the boys' make up artists now? since they're here maybe they could start with make up so we could finish asap." the manager answered

"okay. i'm on it, i'll just freshen up a little bit." taehee bowed and ran off right away trying so hard not to make eye contact with anyone

"taehee slept here?" taeyong asked the manager in a concerned voice

"yes, it was my fault. we just needed some extra hand but everyone got too carried away and started bossing her around i didn't get to say anything for i was busy too. dear i hope she's alright. i bet she's too tired to process today." the manager shook her head answering taeyong's answer as she walked away

concern was written all over taeyong's face as his mother instincts just suddenly popped off. he dragged doyoung to his height asking what they should do with the drained girl to help her a little bit. then doyoung called over taeil as they had their mini meeting. jisung then joined in a little while and they agreed on taking turns looking after her in little ways. they already saw taehee as a sister and they are planning on treating her like one.
