Dream's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The nurse walked in with a small smile

"The surgery was a success. It will however be a little while before he actually wakes up because of the anesthetics. You guys can go see him whenever you like" She left and I stood frozen while the other two cheered

"Aren't you happy Clay?" Nick asked me clearly a little confused as to why I wasn't cheering with them

I laughed before responding his question

"I'm really happy!" They laughed with me before we went to George's room. He laid with visibly less machines attached to him than before

I sat down next to him before instinctively grabbing his hand. It was a little cold but then again his hands were always cold. We all sat around the room waiting for who knows how long before George had finally stirred awake

"hello?"

His voice was raspy and quiet but it was enough for me to get up quickly and attack him with a hug and a lot of small kisses around his face. He laughed before I looked at him

"Oh my god George I cant explain how scared I was"

"I'm sorry"

"Don't apologies its my fault"

"No it's not, its mine I got distracted"

"No, its mine I wasn't watching out for you"

"Hey lovebirds do you mind? It's no ones fault lets leave it at that otherwise both of you are just going to keep apologizing. I didn't fly out here for endless apologies.. IM MAKING UP FOR THE TIME LOSS OF BEING A THIRDWHEEL ALRIGHT!"

"Nick! Don't yell"

"Oh suck a dick Clay"

"Language!"

We all laughed after Bad's comment

"Anyways, its nice to see you awake and getting better George. Me and Nick will go get food for everyone while you two talk"

"Thanks Bad"

"No problem!"

Once the door closed I looked back at George. His eyes where looking at my lap, in confusion I looked down only to see the plushie

(If you thought of something else, ya nasty)

"Oh here. I brought it in panic"

"Heh, thanks. Can you get me water? My throat is really dry"

"Yeah sure"

After he drank some water we started talking. I told him how scarred I was when I realize I lost him. He explained to me what had caught his attention and how he tried looking for me in the sea of people

We talked until Darryl and Nick came back with food

The Doctor explained to us that they wanted George to stay for a few weeks just to keep an eye on him and make sure he heals properly as the surgery recover does take a while

After healing for about a month and a half George was finally discharged from the hospital. Darryl and Nick left after almost a week since George woke up. I had to leave George alone for two days since I had to get more cloths. I was a bit paranoid when I left but everything was fine

I asked George about twenty times if he was sure he was okay to continue on our adventure

"DREAM! Im going to fly back home if you don't stop asking me this over and over again!"

"I just want to make sure you are serious"

"I get that but you only need to ask me twice not a million times!"

I laughed at how annoyed he sounded but he held a wide smile in the midst of yelling at me

No amount of words or numbers could express how much fun it had been traveling the U.S with George. Spending everyday as if it could be our last was just a blissful memory

Not a single adventure could ever top meeting George, running away, and getting married. A journey neither of us would have ever expected but then again neither of us were going to argue about it

George will argue about how I never let his hand go or how I clingly I had become since he left the hospital. I was just a little paranoid. I never wanted to feel the same stress and paranoia I felt in the hospital waiting for him to wake up

I never plan on letting him go anytime soon, even if he argued with me before giving up

After all of our adventures George went back to England. He promised he would be back as soon as possible. We talked on the phone every single day for hours, recording or not. What felt like an eternity, he finally came back and moved in with me

Who would have thought that I would have met him at the hospital. Never once guessed i would travel around the U.S with someone i love

Could never imagine hearing George say 'I love you' under a thousand lights during our adventure

Never thought I would be breathing in life this way

A/N

That's the end of this chapter! And sadly the end of this story. However, this isn't the end, not for me anyways. A simple pause before another story, I'll see you guys in the next book.

Hope you guys enjoyed the adventure. I will pass away if i find out any of them read this book but whatever ill be fine.... maybe...

Anyways, I'll probably make another dnf story but i'm not too sure yet. I'll let you guys go now
