As he settled into a routine with you, it became glaringly obvious how dependent he was on you.
Independence was something Hawks prided himself on, but it all came apart when you moved in. From kisses and coffee in the morning, to night time touches and dinner homemade with all your love.
To hell with independence, if this is what dependent was like, he'd take it over anything anyday (except maybe chicken).
