"When should we get married?"
I looked over my copy of The Shining.
Cancer was staring at me expectantly.
"I don't know. When should we get married?" I stared back.
She stuck her tongue out at that.
"Not in the summer," I suggested.
"Agreed,"
"Your birthday is in the summer,"
"Shut up,"
"How original," I drawled.
"But seriously. Not in the summer. Winter?"
"Hell no. Winter means close to Christmas, which means less Christmas presents and less anniversary presents then usual,"
She whacked me over the head with The Two Towers.
"And in case it snows it will be hard to drive to the venue?"
"Okay then. Autumn?" She suggested.
"Sure but when?"
"September?"
"What date in September,"
"I don't know.... the 7th?"
"Yeah sounds cool," I nodded.
"We have a date, no year and no planning. Go us," she lay down and rested her head on my knee.
"Want to do any more?"
"Why not,"So that afternoon was wedding planning.
"That was fun," Can yawned when we put the notebook away.
"Yep. Can we sleep now?" I stretched.
"Mmhm. Let's just... sleep here tonight," she mumbled.
"Okay," I agreed tiredly, shifting my position so I was laying horizontally on the sofa with cancer on top of me, sleeping.I hate online learning.
And sorry for the short chapter.
