A soft glow from the waking sun opens my eyes. I see a familiar face even though his name slips my tongue, I know that I love him dearly or I once did. I gently put my hand to his face, feeling his warm cheeks my love for him grows. He suddenly shifts, his eyes flutter open peering into mine as I look at him, making our bond stronger and deeper.
My eyes open to see the same ones peering into mine. His arms wrapped around me as we are both trapped in this cage. I fight to keep my eyes open as sleep still looms over them until I notice a tear fall from his cheeks. With every ounce of strength I have, I lift my hand placing it on his warm cheek. I feel a fondness that I have felt once before, but when? I smile at this beautiful man and see a gentle smile from him in return, bringing emotions that I thought I had once lost.
"Jin." I voice out to the man before me. I see his eyes widen as if he were surprised. I slowly fall into the sleep I once craved, but I want to keep staring at his eyes. His beautiful tranquil eyes. Have I seen them before?
