Chapter 27

                 "What?" he raised his brow.

"Walang malisya or something! I just think na uncomfortable ka sa kotse dahil mainit dito, d-diba? Tapos medyo ano..rude? Kasi your waiting for me tapos sa car ka lang--"

"Oo na." he cut me off.

I blinked before turning my back, embarrassed. I heard the car's door shut. Then, I heard his footsteps behind me. I was so conscious while walking. Pakiramdam ko jina-judge niya ako at nakatingin siya sa akin kahit hindi naman talaga. When we arrived at my door, I opened my purse to get my keys. My hands were shaking. I successfully opened the door.

"Uh..welcome to my house." sinenyasan ko siyang pumasok.

He went inside the house and looked around a little. I turned on the lights.

"You can sit on the sofa while waiting. I don't have a dog anymore. Coxann died a year ago because of his age." I informed him. He sat down on the sofa.

Coxann died a month after I opened my second art gallery. I was devastated. It felt like I lost another family member. He was always there for me whenever I felt sad. Lucas, Celia, and I buried her in my backyard. They also loved Coxann. He was such a good boy.

He pursed his lips before looking at me. "Cassandra is in London."

My mouth opened a little, shocked. "She's alive?"

He nodded. "Yes. Khael and Sofia are taking care of her."

"That's..good."

"Would you like to see her? You're also her owner.." he asked me.

"I would love to." We both became silent. Tumikhim ako. "I'll just go ahead and shower. Feel at home."

I went upstairs to my room. I held my chest. Did he just consider me as Cassandra's owner? That's so nice of him. Mabuti naman at inaalagaan niya ng mabuti si Cassandra despite being mad at me. He didn't let his anger for me change his affection for Cassandra.

I took a shower and changed my clothes. My head still hurts but it's fine now compared to my headache earlier. I wore my black pencil skirt and a beige blouse. I also wore a belt and some accessories for more style. I wore my black heels and tied my hair into a ponytail. I applied makeup after putting on my earrings. Pagkatapos kong mag ayos, I grabbed a bag and headed downstairs. Coal was looking at my diploma and medals on the wall. Lumingon siya sa akin nang tumikhim ako.

"Sorry for looking at your diploma and medals. I was bored." he apologized.
