There will be several descriptions of death and small themes of suicide in this book. Nothing too detailed, but I thought it was important to mention considering they are both sensitive subjects.
Thought it was about time I wrote a Thomas fanfic considering how much I love him! Based mainly on the movies, though if a few things are different, it's likely I've mixed up the books and the films and it probably won't matter too much to the plot.
Disclaimer: in the first few chapters, the characters can't remember their names yet. However, for the purpose of avoiding confusion and mix-ups between characters, I'm going to just use their names in reference to them although they haven't figured them out themselves yet!
Anything from before Thomas gets sent up to the Maze is a pure mix of what I've found on the Maze Runner Wiki, and things I've thought of myself. So before you comment telling me that certain things aren't accurate to the book, just know that I know that and that I'm just going with what I think could be realistic to the storyline and characters. It's only a fanfic, so please don't take it too seriously <3
This is the first fanfic I've written including Nick who is obviously a character that only gets mentioned/appears in the books (he's in the prequels I believe?). I've only read part of the first book so his character is definitely not going to be 100% accurate, but I'll try my best anyways!
This is definitely a slower love story considering Clara - my OC - is there from the start of the Glade and Thomas comes in a long while after. The start of the book is definitely more about building Clara up as a person rather than anything love related. I know y'all came here for Thomas (I don't blame you) but I hope you decide to stick with it! I promise you'll enjoy it... Hopefully!
Also, there will be a great deal of Minewt, because I'm a sucker for that ship. And if you read all of that rambling, I love you <3
