But she's different; she's a girl. However, it's not just the fact that she's a girl that separates her from the Gladers. Although her memories are gone, Gally and Ben both recognize her. This is the story about a girl named Mckenzie who comes up in the box like every other greenie, but falls for newt. It tells the tale of how they met and all the wacky maze runner adventures they have.

Minho is struggling to confess his love for Brenda. I'm getting in the middle of it which only makes me confused if I do like Brenda too. Newt and Alby thinks they're love gurus. And then came Teresa which only made everything a hell more confusing. I swear, my last year in college is going to be one big disaster in the making.

This story was set long before Teresa and Thomas came along. After Minho's girlfriend, Paula was stung, she came out of the changing a different person. Changes didn't only affected Paula but so did the glade. From the appearance of Beetle Blades, anonymous nightmares and the stories from Paula's flashbacks, Minho tries to figure out the mysteries behind all this animosity as well as finding a way out of the maze.
