Eventually I ended up in the back seat of an SUV with Jin, Hoseok, and Tae. 

Tae and I sat in the back while Jin drove to my apartment

"Only grab the necessities" Jin reminded me

"I will" I pouted and stared out the window 

"I've had it under surveillance since yesterday, there's been no activity. You should still check it out first though hyung just in case" Tae said as he scrolled through his phone 

"I know" Hoseok mumbled as he rolled his eyes 

The two of us made our way inside of my apartment, everything seemed to be the way I left it. I sighed as I began packing up some of my stuff, I didn't want to leave my shitty apartment, it was small and dingy but it was mine and I worked my ass off for it. 

I was in my room grabbing some clothes when Hoseok ran in and grabbed me, he wrapped his arms around me and threw both of us to the ground as the windows shattered, my lamp broke into pieces, wood from the window sill splintered and cracked falling on top of Hoseok as I buried my face into his chest and held on to him for my life as he crushed me between his body and the floor like my human shield. 

Eventually the shooting stopped. 
The smell hit my nose and I felt like gagging, Hoseok loosened his hold on me and looked down at my face "are you okay?"

"I'm okay..are you okay?"

"I'm okay" he nodded and let out a sigh of relief before putting his head back down on my shoulder, our hearts were pounding so fast I could feel his through my chest

"Thank you" I whispered as I hugged him

"Don't mention it" he mumbled as he stood up, he looked through the broken windows and shook his head as I got up from the floor

"You guys okay?" Jin asked as he walked into my room 

"We're okay" Hoseok nodded 

"What happened?" I asked 

"Your apartment got shot up, jesus christ you're stupid" Hoseok mumbled as he shook his head and walked out of my room 

"I know that much asshole! I meant why! And if they were in the parking lot keeping an eye out for someone then why the fuck did it happen!" I yelled at him as I started throwing more of my stuff into my bag and mentally slapping the shit out of Hoseok as Jin stifled a laugh 

"Tae is tracking them. They weren't in the parking lot, they fired from the parking lot at the liquor store on the other side. We didn't see them" he shook his head and I nodded 

"I didn't mean anything by it Jin.. I was just pissed off at Hoseok. He thinks I'm a fucking moron. I know I can be dumb and oblivious..but he treats me like a child" 

"I know, we need to go before the cops get here though" 

"Can we come back for more?"

"Honestly? I'm not sure" he frowned, I nodded and zipped my bag 

"Alright.. let's just go" 

I sat there in the SUV quietly, my phone vibrated 

Yoongi: I heard what happened. Are you okay?
Me: I'm fine. 
Yoongi: good. 

Loveofmylife: ARE YOU OKAY
Me: I'm okay. Hoseok shielded me
Loveofmylife: THANK FUCKING GOD I WAS FREAKING OUT WHEN NAMJOON TOLD ME WHAT HAPPENED 
Me: STOP YELLING AT ME I'M FINE
Loveofmylife: sorry babes. I love you ♡
