He was right.

After that day, na discharge na rin ako pagkatapos. All I did after that day was to claim back everything I've lost during and after graduation. Nevertheless, the news that I'm already graduated is now sinked in on me.

Buong akala ko ay magiging masaya lang ako sa buong araw ng graduation but Art turned the tables around without I, noticing it. But as they always say, we can't all have nice things.

"How are you, hijo? Pasensya na, I didn't get the chance to visit you at the hospital."

"Okay naman na po ako ngayon." I smile at Art's mother.

"Ano bang nangyari?

We both chuckled after.

I tried recalling what happened that day, but what she said was the same. I tried asking him but he says that he doesn't want to look back on the past again.

Because the more you dwell on something that has had happened, the more chances it might happen again.

"That's sad!" Tita sadly smiles. "But I'm glad you recovered that fast! You're really not lying when you said before na hindi ka madaling tamaan ng sakit!"

Oh. Did I told her that to her before?

I'm here because I'm waiting for Art to finish changing his clothes. One week after I got hospitalized, wala naman akong masyadong ginawa.

All I needed to do now is to wait for the form and I can start looking for a job.

"By the way, how's Kuya Paul po?" I ask.

It is behind her, actually. The ones that are seating are her and Tito.

You can easily take a guess of their personality. Kuya Paul's hands are both on his mother's shoulders, si Art ay parehong nakatago sa likuran.

Too bad, we only met once.

But they both looked together.

"Naku, okay naman siya. He's doing good all by himself. Mabuti nga kung ganoon."

"Tita, I saw one of his pictures kasi." tinuro ko ang cabinet nila. "Art mentioned to me na they are both from RST, but why is he wearing ICCT varsity shirt?"

Kaso nga lang, when I was introduced to their family and their house, napansin ko ang litrato na iyon.

Not because I'm interested but... I wanted this conversation to roll on dahil ang tagal niya magpalit sa labas!

"Oh! Yes!" she exclaimed. "He's from RST, too. Kagaya ni Lucien since preschool! But, I don't know what crossed in his mind at lumipat siya sa ICCT on his very last year of college."

"Hindi niya po sinabi?"

"Oh, Eoghan, we are all used to not saying too much in this family."

Tumawa siya pero hindi sincere.
