You looked at the boy who was kneeling next to you staring at the shitty map, "I highly doubt that there are others. What your saying isn't too outlandish but the probability of people escaping from titans without the ODM gear is nearly impossible. You've seen how titans are firsthand, do you really think you can outrun them?" he asked while running his finger on the dirt from the walls to the other mainland as a way to show the distance you would have to go before leaving the creature's grasp.

You couldn't help but shrug your shoulders, "I dunno. I just really can't believe the fact that we are supposedly what's left of humanity," you could then feel two pairs of eyes staring at you and it was quite obvious to who they were. But you decided to ignore it, "Part of me- no. The government is hiding something I know for a fact. My dad told me about when he was younger when his dad was a teacher, he was killed by the MPs by knowing too much."

The boy remained quiet for a bit, not really knowing how to respond since he was never really forced to think about this topic. Though his thinking was cut short to you laughing out of nowhere and erasing the map you drew, "OH MY! Can't believe I started rambling, sorry that was a bit embarrassing! Ignore what I said, that was my headcanon- I mean hypothesis or theory or whatever you wanna call it. Haha," you continued laughing it off trying to ignore the gaze of the two giants.

From the way they are staring at me, I must be spot on or at least close. Although that still doesn't explain why they did it.

You stood up fast and continued kicking the dirt despite the fact that the map was gone already, "Ignore what I said, it was stupid. And you are right there is no way that a person would survive out the walls." Armin stood up and opened his mouth but you didn't let him talk, "Uh changing the topic can you help me with something?"

He looked baffled at the sudden change of topic, especially since you were so passionate earlier, "sure, what is it that you need? I have to say if it is something that requires physical strength or something I won't be much help."

Waving your hands at the blond you replied, "oh no! I uhh. How do I say this?" you started tapping your chin while your head grew warm, "uhh can you help me with uhh, man this is embarrassing. Okay, here it goes," you took a deep breath while your head lowered, "I don't really know how to read or write very well and need help. Like I can sorta do it but," your hands then covered your face while a frustrated groan left your lips.

I hope that the fact of me being illiterate will make my whole rambling about humanity seem more like a dumbass rather than a big brain person algkajgkjhsdafkk. I didn't think the duo would react so much to that little talk.

It was then that the Reiner started laughing at the newly learned fact, "you don't know how to read or write?!?" He then hit his knee to emphasize how funny it was, "I know that your cute but I didn't know you were dumb, haha!"

Yep, it worked. Wow.

"You know Reiner go fuck yourself there is no need to attack me like that. Some just don't have a big brain like yours. Wow." You rolled your (e/c) eyes and crossed your arms. This little attack didn't last long since a german boy then started celebrating at the fact how he was balancing perfectly unlike earlier today. Makes sense since his own gear is defective. He was then lowered down by the duo and congratulated by everyone. After that, we all started making our way back to the main training area, since they unanimously decided to walk me there since it's probably the closest they'll get to the girl's barracks without being beaten.

Although halfway through the forest a big ass snake appeared and Reiner decided to act manly and push you away from the 'danger'. The both of you were walking at the front and when the reptile showed up he pushed you behind him with quite a bit of force.
