They called them Bonnie & Clyde, partners in crime. They rode it out through thick or thin. Different backgrounds, ages, and stories but they made it work. Their love made it work. Consequences do have actions, they knew that but still took the risk. Love like this is hard to find...it's rare yet precious.

I couldn't stop the tears from coming down my face. this wasn't real, I had to pinch myself I felt like I wanted to faint. I thought I was hallucinating until Dani said his name
I knew he was real and before I knew it my body crashed into his tightly hugging him feeling weak in the knees. Now it was my turn to cry. To cry in the worst way... the way I cried when I thought he died.
" hey baby did you miss me" he whispered to me but I couldn't get a word out. I stepped back as I looked at him " this can't be real. Eli is that you?" He smiled and grabbed my hand
" yea it's me, baby. It's been a long time but finally, I'm back." He looked over at Dani
" Hey Dani, wassup Dave, why y'all look so white in the face" he laughed
" what do you mean. Eli you were dead... I watched you blow up in that bomb how are you standing here" she was crying
" well with a prosthetic leg and a whole lot of scars" he laughed like it was nothing
" I did get caught in the bomb. It blew my leg off and I was covered in house debris but I manage to get out in time before I got caught. I hid out for a while. It took me some time to get back on this side of the world considering I had to heal from my injury but I did it. I sent a letter I thought y'all got it" we all shook our heads
" no we didn't but it doesn't matter cause you're alive and back" I rubbed his face.
" DADDY" Lani yelled and ran to Eli. " hey baby girl!" they had their moment hugging and giving each other kisses. It was so sweet I just couldn't stop crying. Even though Lani was young when Eli 'died' she still knew who he was but now I have to explain to her why her daddy wasn't in heaven and down on earth with her.
" Dani damn look at you girl, done grown up on me" Eli moved to hug Dani next. She was crying just like me " I can't believe your alive, you don't look like you aged a day" she joked and laughed with him
" hey, I still got them good looks. Dave! Nigga I thought you weren't gonna get out" they did their handshake
" shit me either man but I had a lot of help" this was just so heartwarming
We were all catching up and loving each other. Eli my baby is back, Dave is out of jail and so is Mrs. Boston, Dani survived her shooting and the kids are growing up every day. This just makes me love every moment of my lil family.

I can't breathe right now. As always Eli was back in our lives making it fun and cracking jokes. This is what I wished for, to be back how we used to be.
" Mommy I want that" Alex was pointing at the brownie I was eating " If you say please I'll give you my brownie"
" please" he said with his little smile. Aww, my baby boy is getting so big. I kissed his lips and handed him my brownie " thank you mommy" " your welcome baby"
