The Breakup (Eddie x Narrator)

(A/U Hello Honeybunches! 3 part! Hope you enjoy it! Art is not mine, but it's darn adorable. Story is from my imagination. And I'm sorry if I make Gabby out to be a bad person. I love the ship of Gabby x Eddie. They're so sweet together!)

Narrator Pov

I was sitting at home, watching on movie, when I got a call from Eddie.

"Hey Eddie, what's up?" I pick up the phone. I hear sniffing. I sit up straight up. "What's wrong Eddie?"

"Gabby ... she ... broke up with ... me!" Eddie managed to get out and then broke down again.

"Do you need me to come over?" I ask.

"Please," Eddie whispers. I hang up and then go outside and get into my car. I quickly drive over to Eddie's. I arrive there and I get out of my car quickly. I go to knock on the door and it opens right away. Eddie pulls me into a hug. I hug him back. I know he always likes my hugs. 

"Thank you for coming," Eddie whispers.

"No problem, you're my best friend, of course I'd come," I say. 

"I can't believe she broke up with me. 7 years of dating and she breaks up with me after ~~~~~~~~~~~~" Eddie says the last part too quiet. I can't hear him.

"What?" I ask.

"7 years! What was the point even?!" Eddie cries.

"No what was the last part you said?" I ask.

"She broke up with me when I told her I'm bi," Eddie cries. Wait, Eddie's bi? How come I don't know this? How long has he been? Why would Gabby break up with him?

"I'm so sorry Eddie," I say.

"It's not your fault Grant," Eddie smiles at me. "Well it kind of is."

"What?" I say, I have no idea what he's talking about. 

"You're, uh, the reason I'm not straight," Eddie says. I stare at him. At first I don't understand. Then it sinks it. Eddie is telling me that he loves me. More than a friend.

"Eddie-" I start.

"It's fine, I know, you're straight. I just needed to tell you," Eddie says.

"No, you're wrong. I'm not straight. I am bi too. I've been for a while. And," I breathe. "I love you too." I smile at him, and the first time today, I see him smile back at me. He snuggles into my chest. "Do you want to watch a movie?"

"Sure," he says.
