Chapter 8

After a long vacation I manage to prove myself on my team, we spend a lot of work in this company. I gain a lot of praises from my previous work, but that's not still part of my pleasure. I don't still get it, the part of my life is still aching.

"Congratulation Shawn! You manage to step on the second rank!" Inutzugawa said with a wide smile on his face. I didn't response, despite this celebration on my promotion I'm still nothing. The past is remain hunting me.

"Shawn naman! Pwede bang kumishiti ka? Ah," bulol na wika ni Julius sa 'kin, my team mates still get a long with me, Leyard is just wacthing me. I give no reaction.

"Ano kaba Julius! Normal na 'yan kay Shawn!" Tawa naman ni Mariana, nasa headquarters kami ngayon, they were talking like the usual, after the three years of hardship in our mission, we got the highest and most outstanding performance on the agent field. This day is just for celebration sa promotion ko bilang second rank, si Leyard parin ang mananatiling captain ng team, kabilang lang ako sa mga may black na necktie.

"Hahaha! So yung babaeng hollywood actor na inescortan natin the past year, kamuka ng sikat na singer na si Miley Cyrus?" patawang tanong  ni Kloere kay Ken, tawang tawa sila habang nag uusap.

"Diba si Miley Cyrus din ang kumanta ng wrecking ball habang naka hubad?" Ngisi ni Ken at liningon si Inutzugawa.

After the days we spend we do our daily work on the office.

"Hi Shawn!" bati sa 'kin ng junior namin, i nodded and continue walking. Nung mga nakaraang taon, mabusisi ang mission namin sa ibang bansa, natutunan korin ang ibang lingguahe, pero mahina parin akong bumasa. I know how to speak but that's nothing to do with my reading skills, some of my team mates want to teach me, but i refuse to learn, still i don't want to trust anyone. Because betrayal always begin with trust.

"Here is my report," I submitted my report to the president of our department. Hindi naman kailangan ng sulat o ano man, inencode kolang naman ang mga dapat i encode, kung may mga copy na ibinibigay sa 'kin. Saka ko 'yun i kacopy, Computer kasi ang hawak ko kaya madali lang 'yon.

"Thank you Shawn,"

I didn't response i just turn my back and go outside of the office, today is my rest day. I finish my work, all I need to do right now is going to sleep, having a nice sleep is my charger for my another mission.

Nadaanan ko ang hallway ng board area, glass kasi ang mga naka harang sa palapag na 'to, at kita sa labas ang mga taong na nasa loob. Na nag memeeting, pawang may mga rank lang ang pwedeng dumaan sa palapag na 'to, the other normal employees have nothing to do with this area, that's why they don't need to be here.

"Tapos kana?" I heard someone talking. When i enter the other floor.

"Oo, tingnan mo oh, nakarating napala siya?" sabay tingin sakin ng babaeng naka formal attire, her pencil cut make her looks like an elegance ones.

"Oo nga eh, akalain mo. She manage to stop the enemy's power,"

"Nakakahanga nga eh, balita ko wala ring namatay sa last operation ng kanilang mission,"

"Alam mo ba ang rumors?"

"Hindi, baket?"

"The past three years, she came to TAW agency not because she applied for a position, Our company sees her potencial on fighting and some unbelivable talent that's why TAW get her to be one of the rank here,"

"That's awesome!"

"And also, She's a prisoner on her early 17th,"

"What!?" Sigaw ng kasama nya, i stop and face them. Ang pinaka ayaw ko sa lahat ay ang mga taong maingay!
