Chapter 27

It was already night time. Nang masiguradong okay lang ang kanyang ina sa silid nito ay pumunta na siya sa kanyang silid. She was not hungry. Isa pa ay nagdala ng pagkain sa silid ng ina kanina si Karina at iyon ang kinain niya.

Nang ipinatawag siya upang kumain nang hapunan ay nagpasabi siyang hindi siya nagugutom at ayaw niyang kumain. Well, hindi naman talaga siya nagugutom. Isa pa ay ayaw niyang makaharap si Micheal. Hindi niya gusto ang ginawa nitong paglipat sa mga gamit niya kanina sa silid nito.

She took a half bath inside her room, and slipped in a comfy pajama. It had been a long day, and she felt tired. She climbed to the bed, and tucked herself under the thick blanket.

Madali siyang nakaidlip. Pero napabalikwas sa kama si Mia nang marinig ang pag-ingit ng pinto at muling pagsara niyon.

May tao na pumasok sa loob ng kanyang silid? Buti na lamang at hindi siya mala-mantika kung matulog. Madali siyang magising kahit makarinig lamang siya nang mahinang kaluskos sa paligid.

She looked at the direction of the door. The subtle light of the lampshade that was beside her bed was the only source of illumination inside her room.

Kaagad na naghabulan ang mga daga sa loob ng dibdib niya nang makita si Micheal. Her sight captured his full, lean figure. He was just wearing a boxer shorts that showed off his toned body.

Naglakbay sa kabuoan nito ang kanyang paningin - from his extensive shoulders, to his muscled chest and biceps, and to his burly legs. Lean, strong muscles filled her eyes. And his abs... she gulped real hard as her sight riveted to the currogated lines of muscles on his abdomen. She saw eight-packs of lean, hard obliques. Oh my! Ang lalaking pinakasalan niya ay hindi lamang basta guwapo kundi talagang macho!

Her heart rammed like crazy inside her chest. The sight of Micheal clothed in just boxer shorts, as he flashed his hotness in her very eyes, suddenly made the temperature inside her room shoot to ceiling-high.

Hindi na niya binuksan ang aircon sa loob ng silid dahil malamig naman kanina. Malamig ang klima sa lugar dahil bulunbundukin. But Micheal was a walking hotness that suddenly made the air turn humid.

At bakit hindi niya ini-lock ang pinto kanina? Ayan tuloy at nakapasok ang lalaking ito sa loob ng kanyang silid.

Napabangon siya sa kama. She sat on the bed, and pulled the blanket to cover her body. Hindi naman sexy ang suot niyang pajama pero manipis iyon.

"What are you doing here, Micheal?" kaagad na tanong niya sa galit na boses. She didn't like him barging in her room unannounced especially while she was in the middle of her sleep.

May bitbit itong unan sa kamay. His eyes fixed to her, traveling from her face to her body that was covered by the blanket. At kahit makapal ang kumot na nakatabing sa kanyang katawan, ramdam na ramdam niya ang init na sumisingaw sa mga mata ng lalaki.

"Bakit dito ka natutulog?" he asked in an aggravated voice. His eyes locked with hers.

Nanuyo yata ang kanyang lalamunan sa klase ng titig nito. She swallowed painfully. The lump in her throat was growing bigger each passing second. "This is my room, Micheal," she searched for her voice, and was thankful when she could still talk. "This is where I will sleep."

He approached her. Napatayo tuloy siya sa kama. A warning bell rang at the back of her head. Micheal getting close to her made the space inside her room suddenly become smaller. She could feel his entire presence now, even the flick of heat that was emanating from his whole being. Tuluyan nang nawala ang kanyang antok.

Damn! But she couldn't help not to steal glances as his ripped, toned body titillated her eyes. His muscled chest and hot abs were sinfully distracting.
