Summer vacation was finally here, next year Sylvie was gonna be a sophomore and she was actually kinda excited. But now she was at Camp Moosehead, with her friends and her boyfriend, ready to have the best time ever.

"We made it. Camp Moosehead at last," Kristy cheered as she walked from the bus in the rain. Sylvie laughed at her friend as she stood close to Sam to get under the umbrella.

"And just in time. If I was on that bus five more minutes, my circulatory system would never recover. Grounding breath," Dawn said.

"Summer look! Thoughts?" Claudia asked while putting on some sunglasses.

"Approve!" Stacey said.

"Adore," Mary Anne added.

"You look like a bug," Kristy said honestly.

"Kristy," Sylvie warned her friend.

"Sorry, but why are you wearing sunglasses when it's raining? But I'm so glad you skipped out on fancy art camp so we can all be together,"

"I can still have a summer of art. The trees will be my inspiration, and the sky will be my muse. And it never rains at Camp Moosehead. It's only a heavy dew," Claudia said.

"A really heavy dew yeah," Sylvie laughed.

"Moosehead! Moose, Moosehead! Moosehead! Moosehead! Moosehead!" The girls started cheering with a few campers soon joining while Sylvie and Sam laughed.

"Oh, you know the chant already," A woman came up to them with a not really happy face.

"Yeah, we practised it on the bus. We also know the camp song and some of the lore from the welcome pamphlet," Kristy said excitedly.

"Stoneybrook group, yeah?"

"You know it!" Dawn exclaimed. As the girls, minus Sam, hugged.

"Cabin assignments. Eighth-grade girls, Kishi and Schafer, Cardinal cabin. Younger McGill and girl Thomas, Bluebird. Spier, Meadowlark. Cabin leader, boy Thomas, Toucan, with your brother. Older McGill, Cardinal cabin, also with your sister." Sylvie looked at Sam with confusion to why she and the girls weren't together. She expected that she and Sam wouldn't be, but why the girls?

"I thought we were supposed to be together," Claudia said.

"Yeah, I'm all alone," Mary Anne said with a sad face.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll make quick friends," Sylvie said to her.

"But what about us?" Sam asked her.

"We'll find a way to hang out, I promise," She told him and kissed his cheek lightly.

"Come on. We'll fix this." Kristy said. "Excuse me. Hi, Kristy Thomas, resident of Stoneybrook, president of the Baby-Sitters Club,"

"Philomena Means. The kids call me Meany," At that both Sylvie and Sam chuckled but quickly shut up when they saw Meany's glare. "Resident of Passaic, New Jersey. Director of Camp Moosehead for the past 26 years." Meany finished.

"Impressive record service. But I think there's been a mistake. See, my friends, brother and I specifically requested to all be in the same cabin. We're the Baby-Sitters Club," Kristy began.
