Chapter 12

The next day I was still fuming that Jayden told Isabelle about our baby. I can seriously hold a grudge so I won’t be acknowledging him for a while.

I drove to the elementary school I work at and dreaded the fact that I had to see Isabelle today. I try to avoid her but she always seems to get small digs to me all the time.

On the bright side, when I see all the children in my class, they always make me smile. Cocoa is just the cutest even if her name is weird. I was loving my job, every part of it. Well expect from Isabelle being there, of course.

Surprise, surprise. Isabelle was sat on my desk when I got in. I sighed and placed my bag on a nearby chair.

“What do you want Isabelle?” I demanded “I can’t deal with you today” I placed my hand on my hip

She gave a bright smile “Oh just the person I was looking for?”  she said as she walked over to me

I raised an eyebrow at her “Really?”

That was when I noticed the magazines in her hands “I just wanted your opinion on a wedding dress. You see I’m finding it difficult to find one as I want to look perfect for MY Jaydey” she smirked as pure evil glinted in her eyes

“Go to hell” I spat

She looked shocked “Oh what did I do?” she said innocently

Two can play at that game “Oh how is the morning  sickness? I’m sure Jayden is thrilled about having a baby soon. I know he was when we were having one” I crossed my arms

Her smile dropped and she sneered at me “Stay away from my man bitch”

I shrugged “Don’t sneer babe, makes you look ugly”

Her mouth dropped open. I walked towards her and lifted her chin back up “Don’t want to catch flies now do we?” I said in her ear

Her mouth started opening and closing “The fish look does it for you” I said sarcastically and walked away

Isabelle kept her distance all day as I didn’t hear a peep from her. Oh this is the life.

After school had finished, I rushed out early so I didn’t bump into Jayden at any point and decided to go to the park for the first time in ages.

I sat down on one of the swings and slowly pushed myself back and forward. The park was empty and the silence was nice. It was autumn now so all the leaves were red, orange and yellow with a slight cold breeze in the air.
