Chapter 25

It’s been a week since Jayden came home from the hospital and the doctor gave him strict orders to rest for a couple of weeks.

He sold his apartment and moved in with me so I could keep an eye on him. We thought that moving into my house would be better as it’s bigger and has more room for the baby.

Jayden and I are currently lying on my sofa. Jayden found it hilarious to drive a little toy car over my 6 month bump just to amuse his pea sized brain.

“brrrrrrrruuummmmm” he made stupid car noises as he pushed the car over my stomach

I sighed “Jayden, really? How old are you?” I raised an eyebrow at him

He smiled like a little kid “Small things, small minds” he shrugged

“I hope our child doesn’t end up with your brain then” I smirked

Jayden’s mouth dropped open “That’s mean!” he whined

I grabbed a pillow and hit him with it “Grow up!” I chuckled

“Oh so that’s how this is going to go down!” he smirked and hovered over me

He started to place small kissed down my neck causing me to laugh as he knows I was ticklish. I could feel him smile into my neck as he carried on “Jayden!” I shrieked

“Say sorry!” his kisses travelled back up my neck and across my jaw

I laughed “Okay! I’m sorry! Pregnant women here!”

Jayden pulled back and pressed a kiss on my lips “You’re going to use that every time aren’t you” he rolled his eyes but there was a smile on his face

I gave a smug look “Yup, for the next 3 months anyway”

Jayden lied back down and I rested my head on his chest “Wow, is it really that close” he whispered out, shocked.

I let out a long breath “Yeah”

“We have to get the room painted” Jayden suggested

I couldn’t help but laugh “Out of all the things, that is the first thing you thought of”

Jayden shrugged “It’s important. Now, we need to have a neutral colour as we don’t know the gender yet” he started
