Father Time, slammed his closed fist onto the black golden chessboard with anger. His brother Death himself, dressed in his long black cloak that covered his whole body and his face, only leaving his skeleton like hands tapping against the black golden chessboard. They had been playing there usual game of chess, but the rules where different than humans, each figure was a mixture of monstrous creatures and whoever won had the right to decide on a beings end.

Father Time still didn't move, he just looked down at the piece of what looked like a piece of Roman parchment, with anger and annoyance. His brother finally broke the silence and said in his husky ash voice "brother as much as I love the silence of my realm, can you please tell me what's bothering you so we can carry on the game" Father Time breathed out a long sigh and said whilst slamming down the parchment onto the table "my daughter has changed the saviour of the universe's fate and what does this experiment do, re activates her fate, which should not of happened because she was not on the brink of death. Her being human and all, her body just needed more rest. Now what happens? Well I will tell you, her hidden secret that even she doesn't now is going to be unleashed and the after effects of the universe without her will be even worse than it was the first time her fate changed. Gods, if it isn't humans killing there planet, it's the 'Dark one' trying destroy the universe and if it isn't the 'Dark one', it's one of his experiments changing fate for the humans AND everything in the universe to the point of no return" he then looked at his brother and asked "brother, do you think the universe was mistaken when she bestowed me with this position?" Death stoped tapping the chessboard and said in serious type tone "brother, you know full well what I think. You are the best for this position, yes it hasn't always gone your way, but by the universe. Even though we are not humans we still have the good and evil inside us, after all everyone and everything in this universe knows without good there cannot be any evil. And brother, if that's one of your regrets be glad it's not something worse. You have done well with your position and with the hardships of what comes with it. Just be glad you have a family, myself...... I will always be alone, for that is my fate, whilst yours is to be the keeper of time". Father Time breathed out a long sigh and said whilst looking at the parchment in front him said "I suppose you are right" he then asked before playing chess again "but how can I stop the destruction of the universe including everything in it, along with the human race?" Death said in his husky ash voice "brother not everything is written in stone nor in the universe, there maybe time for humans to stop the ticking of there destruction, at the very last minute they will be saved by the unlikely of beings" Father Time's eyes widened in shock "brother, ho...how..how do you know this. I'm the keeper of time itself and even I cannot see this" There was dead silence for awhile and then Farther Time realised who it could be, with eyes wide he asked shocked "she has told you hasn't she, the universe herself?" Death himself said quietly "you where always a bit slow when it came to things like that brother. Yes, it was her. She has also given me a message for you and her granddaughter: You may hold Time in your hands and your daughter that of Fate of everything and everyone. But don't forget, you cannot change a person's path in life too much, or you shall suffer the consequences. For every change of Fate/there path, darkness comes closer to your door and with it the ticking of 'The' clock, the clock of darkness that will one day destroy even me and everyone and everything that lives in my domain"
Farther Time looked at his brother with shock and disbelief, no immortal living or dead, good or evil, had ever been visited by the universe herself, not even him and Farther Time was her son-in-law.
His brother cleared his throat and said "common brother, I have a lot of paperwork to fill out and lots of people to bring over. This is the only time I have some me time, let's finish it before I have to go" so with that they carried on with there game of chess.
