Control (Book 1)

Chapter 47

3rd P.O.V:

The Cullens ran home with confusion clouding their minds. They didn't understand what had happened with the twins. Edward, Jasper, and Alice all came home last. Carlisle was standing with Esme, and Rosalie was with Emmett.

"This changes everything," Edward said. Rosalie snorted at this. Edward turned towards her and snarled. Emmett moved slightly in front of his wife and mate to protect her just when Edward decided to attack.

"Enough! This isn't helping." Carlise said as he shook his head. He was confused. How did the twins have powers? Were they born with them? If so, they were strong. Wanda was strong enough to put a vampire on its knees.

"Carlisle, we need to be careful. The twins didn't tell us upfront that they had powers. What danger could they bring to our family?" Rosalie asked. Edward lunged at Rosalie when she said that, taking everyone by surprise.

Edward grabbed her by the neck and thew her out the window. Emmett lunged at Edward, but Edward was faster. He was able to avoid the attack ad went after his adoptive sister. "How. Dare. You!" Edward all but snarled.

Rosalie was surprised that she had been attacked. She didn't expect her own brother to attack her. " I'm worried about the threat that they could pose to our family, Edward. We know nothing about them.

For all we know, their story could be made up. You said it yourself. You can't read Wanda's or Pietro's thoughts. We need to be cautious." Rosalie said as she got up off the ground. "You were considering killing them!" Edward all but yelled.

The others gasped once they heard this. "If it keeps us safe..." Rosalie started to say before a small blur rammed into her. The sound of boulders crashing could be heard before cracking could be heard.

Alice was furious. She was talking about killing her and Jasper's mate. "Enough!" Carlise yelled as he pulled Alice off of Rosalie. Alice was holding onto Rosalie's arm when she got pulled away. "Alice, Edward. Go cool off. I'll deal with this." Carlisle said as he took Rosalie's arm from Alice.

Alice and Edward flashed off with one last snarl at Rosalie. Jasper followed after his wife and mate after shooting a look at Rosalie. Rosalie was in shock. Alice had attacked her. She actually attacked her.

That was something she was not expecting. "Come on, Rosalie. Let's go to my office." Carlise said as he moved inside. Esme and Emmett were both in shock but recovered quickly. "Let's get this cleaned up," Esme said as she started to clean up the glass.

Hey guys! Sorry, it took so long to update. My senior year is a killer. I'm also working on a new book called Back In Time. Please give it some love. I know I used to update this story every two weeks, but that is going to change.
