The overachieving Students' Council president Son Yejin and her childhood close friend, Hyun Bin, are Year Three students here. The final year of high school isn't exactly a good time for fun, but is it for...love...
"Listen up, everyone. I'd need for class 3A students to sit on the right side, and 3B students to sit on the left side, so it's easier for your class representatives to note your attendance."
Half-hearted choruses of "Yes, Mr. Jung" were heard, as the students filed into the coach which will take them to Gyeongju for their four day-three night cultural trip.
There were four coaches heading from Spackman High to Gyeongju, with eight classes of students split into four groups of two classes each.
Unsurprisingly, Yejin's 3A was sharing a coach with Hyun Bin's 3B.
Being the council president, Yejin was standing by the luggage hold of the coach, busy helping the teachers and class representatives with ensuring everyone's attendance, and that their luggage was safely stowed away.
Standing in line with his classmates from class 3B, was a certain basketball team captain who was waiting to board.
The students from 3A were still slowly boarding.
From the corner of her eye, Yejin could sense a lingering gaze on her, as she ticked off names on the clipboard in her hands with every labeled luggage bag stowed.
The last of the students' bags went in, and the Students' Council president turned to look to her right.
Two pairs of eyes met.
One pair softened, conveying placating vibes, whereas the other pair simply narrowed, accompanied by an angry pout.
"Have all the 3A students boarded the bus?" Their physics teacher, Mr Jung Man Bok, asked loudly.

Yejin tore her gaze away, before raising her hand.
"Mr Jung, I'll be boarding now."
"Ahh okay, don't forget to sit on the right side with your classmates."
"Yes, sir."
Going up the steps into the coach, mindful to avoid the gaze of a certain basketball team captain, Yejin scanned the right side of the bus.
