Valentina stared up at the pristine white ceiling at her gynecologist, her hands flickered at her sides a little too impatient as Dr. Christofi fiddled or whatever she seemed to be doing. She always hated going to the gyno, but since marrying Michael it had afforded her the best in everything, and this room wasn't as bad as what she was accustomed to growing up.
"You are pregnant, although it's too early to hear the heartbeat. Dr. Christofi said still underneath her dress as she checked to see if her cervix had softened. She looked at her bewildered.
"What? '' she asked, still in shock and the doctor let out a little laugh pulling her fingers out of Valentinas you know where.
"I know it can be shocking." She continued
"But I just took my birth control shot! " she interjected.
"Well it's only 94 percent effective, and your pregnancy is six percent." Valentina touched her stomach she was not ready to be a mother, she was only twenty-one and just celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband Michael.
