"I might have to go down to Seoul," Chagang said over breakfast the next day.

"But that's so far." SH took a bite of her gaeran mari- a rolled omelet

"I might be as well," North Pyongan told them. "Korea wants my fleets closer to Taiwan and Southeast Asia."

"Korea or CCCP?" North Hamgyong's voice was bitter.

"Does it matter?" North Pyongan politely retorted. "Now that we have the whole Peninsula, it is important that we hold it."

"Any word on America's troops in the south?" Kangwon asked. "He had a bunch, didn't he?"

Hwang nodded. "Fifteen bases, eighty-five active installations in total, correct Chagang?"

Chagang nodded. "We need to start a full-crackdown on them. Apparently Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are ransacking them as we speak. But America will not take that lying down- they need our troops down there."

"I should speak with the Centre for Publicity and Information as soon as possible," Hwang said, dabbing his mouth with a cloth napkin. "We need to disseminate propaganda right away. We have a lot of brainwashing to break."

"We have a' ton o' new farmland now," Ryanggang sighed. "I'll need to get on that, too. Send some up here to the villages."

"I'm staying here to keep an eye on CCCP." North Hamgyong narrowed his eyes. "They couldn't get rid of me if they tried."

"Really." Kangwon smiled at his cousin. "He's not that bad."

"He's not bad, but I'm with North Hamgyong on this," South Pyongan said. "Yeah, yeah, I know- that's a first."

"How's your arm?" Y/N asked. She had forgotten to ask about it yesterday. The last time that she had seen the Provincehuman's arm, it had been in a splint.

"All good, now." South Pyongan grinned, stretching out her limb. Then she winced. "Okay- almost all good. The bone was pretty much snapped in half, though, so I'd say this is progress."

"That's why Korea has been trying to keep you out of Pyongyang," SH said. "You still can't fight well."

The sporty province rolled her white eyes. "Yeah, it sucks. But if I saw America again, I'd overcome my injuries to kick his ass."

"Me too," Hwang said. "He hurt my sister- he needs to pay for that."

"No offense, Hwang-" South Pyongan punched his shoulder playfully. "But you couldn't kick your way out of a box."

"Korea gave me the same military training as you." The male province primly adjusted his glasses.

South Pyongan grinned. "Yeah, but the world gave me bigger muscles." She rolled up her shirt sleeve to expose her biceps, flexing them.

"I think Y/N has first call on kicking America's ass," Kangwon said, and Y/N jumped.

"Unfair," South Pyongan complained. "She already got her turn."

"Someone else can have the honour." Y/N dipped her head humbly. "I'd rather never see him again."

"You heard her." North Hamgyong punched a hand into his fist. "I get to beat him."

"She didn't say any names," SH challenged her brother. "I think you're hearing things."

"I took a bullet for her- it's definitely me."
