I get in the back as the boys sit in the front, Kai turns to me holding the aux cord.
"Got another song?"
"I always do."
I quickly grab the cord and plug it into my phone, clicking the song I've been wanting to hear since fifth period.
"Alicia Keys is never bad, she has nothing but good songs."
My phone lays in my lap as Mattia turns to face me.
"Title?"
"If I Ain't Got You."
He nods and licks his lips slightly, I don't know why that's so attractive, but it is.
✰ I really hope he doesn't get all sorts of ideas from hearing this song, I've had this front like were just friends on since I was 11 and I'm not planning on ruining this friendship over some dumb feelings.
"Sky."
My thoughts are broken as he speaks, a small smile grows along his lips.
"Whatcha thinkin about?"
"Things."
He hates when I'm not descriptive, it's the only thing I've never stopped doing to drive him crazy.
"What kind of things?" His tone is obviously annoyed, why not make it worse for my amusement?
