When she gets to her house, there's a light glowing from the living room and she presses into the house and sees Lindsey lounged out on the couch wearing his black plaid flannel pajama pants a stupid sitcom playing.

"Lindsey I'm so sorry about dinner. If the kids are still with your mom we could go to a bar or something. I haven't been out like that in a long time." She shakes her head.

"Nah, there's a chimichanga in the fridge for you. I'm going to go up to bed." He states.

"You went anyway?" She asks.

"I did. I took the girls and Kristen. They quite enjoyed it. Ella loves chicken quesadillas I didn't give Ginger any...well yes I did, she had some of my rice but I brought her dinner." Lindsey explains.

"You went with Kristen?" Stevie looks at him her heart sinking to her stomach.

"I did, and do you know why I did...I did it because she's having a hard time adjusting to life in this pack and if you're serious about completing a merger-at least that's what I think you and Tom were talking about when I walked in-she has to feel comfortable and I'm a friendly person so I'm trying to be nice. I'm going to bed." Lindsey tells her heading up the stairs.

When Lindsey disappears up the stairs the tears start flowing from her eyes. She's halfway through her lukewarm chimichanga when something clicks in her head and she bolts up the stairs to her daughter's bedrooms. She opens Ginger's door and her hand falls to her chest as she starts gagging at the overwhelming Lemon Pledge scent emanating off of her daughter's body. She quickly backs out of Ginger's room and pops open Ella's door. She doesn't smell as bad so Stevie quickly crawls in bed next to her and holds her for five minutes before going back over to Ginger's room. It had become increasingly clear that Kristen held Ginger and she didn't like it one bit. She scoops Ginger into her arms and she hugs her tightly to get her scent on her daughter and then she goes back to finishing her sad and cold chimichanga.

After she cleans off her plate she shuts the TV and the light off in the living room and then she goes upstairs. Lindsey's sleeping peacefully on his stomach, his toned back, illuminated by the moonlight. Stevie changes into her nightgown and when she goes into the bathroom to take her makeup off she sees the towel slung over the door to the shower and she cries again because it's now confirmed that he showered to get her scent off of him and she didn't like it. She didn't like the fact that he had been close enough to her where he knew he had to get rid of her scent.

She crawls into bed and then she looks at Lindsey and she just sighs. "I'm so sorry Lindsey. I didn't mean too."

The next morning Stevie jolts awake when she hears the sound of Lindsey's alarm.

"Honey it's...four o'clock in the morning, what the hell?" Stevie questions falling back into the bed.

"I'm going to work with the Omegas today." He tells her.

"But, it's Saturday we spend Saturday with the girls...I was thinking we could go to the park." Stevie tells him.

"You can take them if you want. I told Ella I was going to work today and she understands." Lindsey shrugs crawling out of bed and heading towards the closet.

"Well...could, could I at least shower with you?" Stevie asks biting her lip.

"No, I'm going to shower when I get off and by then the kids will be awake. Just go back to bed." He tells her.

"But I had hoped we could you know...make love...last night." She pulls her knees up to her chest.

"And I would've considered it but not getting dinner until seven-thirty and then not seeing you until around ten last night I lost the mood." Lindsey shrugs grabbing his clothing and heading into the bathroom.

When the bathroom door shuts she rolls onto her side and pulls Lindsey pillow into her arms. She cries into it but his scent soothes her in a way and she relaxes slightly.

Stevie had decided to take the girls to Eli's grave and after a while, Ginger fell asleep in her mother's arms, and while Ella was talking to Eli Stevie faded into her own little world.

"Lily, why did he take Kristen to dinner?"

"Stevie...he told us why he took Kristen to dinner. I trust Adams and I think you need to also. They love us." Lily replies.

"But he...he took her to dinner and he let her grubby paws touch my babies." She pouts.

"Stevie...he's making friends, being a good Alpha," Lily states fading out of her head.

"No Help," Stevie growls

What pulls Stevie out of her little world is when Ella toddles over and she straddles her mother's thighs and peers over at her baby sister.

"She's cute mommy." Ella smiles.

"She is cute. You're cute too." Stevie smirks

"I want another little sister." Ella grins.

"You what?" Stevie shakes her head slightly stunned.

"I want you to give me another little sister. I like playing with Ginger and I want another one." Ella states.

"Um...ugh, well I'd...I'd have to talk to daddy about that." Stevie states.

"So when daddy gets home tonight ask him," Ella tells her mother.

"But Pumpkin it's not that simple...it...it takes a long time and there's...there's no guarantee that it's going to be a little sister if daddy and I agree to give you another little sibling...it...it could be a baby brother." Stevie bites her lip.

"Well try...come on mommy, I want to go home and play Barbies with you." Ella stands up and starts heading back towards the pack land.

Stevie rolls her eyes but stands up and follows her oldest child out of the woods. But when she gets home and sees Lindsey and Kristen talking outside on the front porch Stevie decides then and there that until Kristen is gone and Lindsey stops puttering around with her they WOULD NOT be even considering having another baby. But she also doesn't know if she wants one period because she's pretty content with her two little girls.

But somewhere in the back of her mind, Lily secretly starts shaking her head and laughing because she knows something that Stevie doesn't know yet.
