Kayla's pov
"MY BESTIE IS SEXY AS FUCK HELL YEAH" jc and dev yelled while jumping up and giving me a huge hug
"thanks guys but it was nothing oh Devon I have a question?" I asked
"what is it" I smiled at her
"so I have a new video I'm making with Calvin Harris anddddd I wanted to know if you wanted to do it with me"
she screamed so loud it made my ears ring "YESSSSSS!!!!" She squealed.
I could feel colby, still staring at me it started to feel uncomfortable so I looked over at him and he looked away at his phone "Colby what do you think?" I asked
"no comment" he said
"he's just jealous that it wasn't him with you in that video" Corey said causing everyone to laugh
"NO!" Colby yelled
"say that to how red your face is" I said. I poked his red chubby cheek and got close to his face "really red" I whispered.
"That's it Corey and dev I'm leaving I swear to God I'ma go get high somewhere else bye" Colby said while getting up to leave.
Corey stopped him "sorry hun you can't leave yet" Corey said in a girly voice.
Jc gave Colby a death stare for some reason I don't know why but he did.
"Alright y'all I'ma call my manager about devyn being in the next video I'ma be in" they all nodded and I walked out front and called my manager.
About ten minutes later I ended the call and I was about to head in but then I saw Colby's walk outside. "Dad stop I'm fine can you drop the case now please you finally got what you wanted now just leave me be" what the hell is his dad a cop or something. I tried to breath slowly so he couldn't here me so I could finish hearing what he was saying "I don't care dad I'm not your test dummie or your go find the bad guy person ok in all reality there not bad people and leave Kayla alone ok please she has a huge Carrier ahead of her. I don't want your dumb ass money so keep it I'm done" he hung up the phone and I walked out
"so your a son of a cop" I said walking out looking pissed off
"shit look it's not what it seems" I slapped him in the face and pointed at his car
"YOU HAVE 1 MINUTE TO LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!?" I yelled and he nodded as he walked to his car and drove away.
I walked in upset I can't believe he ratted me out. I was crying and everyone looked at me and I looked deal at Corey "Did you know" I said as calmly as can be.
"Know what?" He said. I sobbed harder and harder and Corey and dev came up to me and hugged me.
I told them what happened and they were both pissed especially jc.
"Hey guys I'ma head to bed see you tomorrow dev" they all nodded and I went to bed.
The next morning I started to get ready for work with dev so decided to blast a Billie eilish song called bad guy because it reminded of last night. I dont know why but I always listen to music that relates to my life.
Devyns pov
I feel bad for Kayla I saw a connection between Colby and her so I decided to call Colby and give him a piece of my mind
"Hello" Colby said I'm a groggy voice. He must have just woken up
"Why didn't you tell us that ur a son of a cop more or less work for him. Kayla really started to think you were cool you know when she came home from the park last night she told me every little detail about what happened. She's never been that happy and you just broke her I hope your happy" I said while hanging up.
Ugh no we got to get new phones and numbers and all that. Not to mention we need to think of what we're gonna be doing now that Colby's dumb ass of a father knows where the hell we live at now. Ugh.
I walk over to Kayla's room hearing her listening to music while getting ready for the day. I'm glad I have her as a friend.
