Star Wars is not just a franchise, it's a part of my soul.
My earliest memories of Star Wars were watching the original Saga with my dad. When Luke blew up the Death Star, I remember turning to him and asking "did we win?" he replied, "we did". It was great being able to take him to see the sequel trilogy and it's a memory I will hold onto forever.
As most of you know from my previous books, Princess Leia, General Organa, and Carrie Fisher were and always will be my heroes. The franchise means something to each one of us. It is something that brings us all together. Each character imprints us with a life long message and wisdom.
I am forever grateful for Star Wars in my life and look forward to enjoying it with my children.
