Ayesha's Pov:
I was just busy doodling in the back of my notebook while my professor is busy discussing things. I am not paying attention to what he is saying, even though that it is required because we have a freaking long quiz next week! Dapat ko iyong ipasa kung gusto ko pang mag-graduate, pero hindi ko talaga kaya. Bahala na, mag-self study na lang ako sa weekends. I am just preoccupied with this problem of mine. Hindi ko alam pero may kakaiba akong nararamdaman ngayon, I feel so gloomy and blue right now. Nalulungkot naman ako pero hindi ganito eh, may halong kaba.
Ewan ko pero bakit parang may kinalaman ito kay Amery? Pero huwag naman sana, ayoko namang may mangyaring masama sakanya. She's my best friend since I got in college. She's always there for me, to comfort and wipe my tears away. Pero isang araw, bigla na lamang siya nawala.
"Class Dismissed."
Nabuhayan ako ng diwa nang narinig ko ang isang napakagandang salita sa aking professor. Buti naman at nag-dismiss na si tanda. Dali-dali akong tumayo at inayos ang aking gamit upang lapitan si Jella.
"Ayesha Arden."
Napabuntong hininga ako nang narinig ko na naman ang buo kong pangalan mula sa isang matinis na boses. I looked up and I saw Jella with her serious eyes.
"Jellarden Flores."
Ganti ko at gaya ng ginawa ko ay napabuntong hininga rin siya.
"We really need to do something."
Malungkot ang naging tinig ni Jella, at alam ko na kung ano ang tinutukoy niya. She's right, we really need to do something to find Amery. She's been missing for about five months so with her family. She even dropped out in our university. We don't want to believe that she left us hanging because we know that she is not capable of leaving us behind. Amery loves us so much and so are we, that's why we are really trying our best everyday to find ways to see her again.
"You're right. Limang buwan na siyang hindi nagpapakita sa atin. Hindi ko na rin nakikita si ate Lorielle."
We even tried to look for her sister in her med school, but her classmates said that she transferred to another university. We also visited their condominium here, but still no sign of her. We only have one resort, and that is their house in province.
"So anong plano?" She asked, but I know that she is already aware of the last plan. Kung wala pa talaga siya roon, ay wala na kaming magagawa.
"Ang pumunta sa Ilocos."
Tumango siya sa akin bago ako inakbayan papunta sa labas. Dumeretso kami kaagad sa cafeteria ng campus upang magpahinga dahil may one hour pa kaming break bago magsimula yung last class namin.
Wala na kaming choice kundi ang pumunta sa Ilocos bukas. Hindi naman ganoon kahigpit yung schedules namin next week except sa fact na marami kaming long quizzes, but that's just normal for us. Sanay na rin kami eh.
"I didn't really see that this will happen." She whispered and I just nodded.
Well even me, I thought it was just normal at first when she was absent for the whole day. But we were getting worried when she was almost gone for almost a week, and we knew that there was something wrong, kasi hindi naman ugali ni Amery ang mag-absent nang matagal. She's a grade conscious girl, and we were getting more and more worried, mas lalo na at limang buwan na siyang nawawala. She disappeared without any texts, letters or meet-ups, she was just like a puff of smoke.
