None of them answer.
"I guess we're going to have to do this the hard wa-" I'm cut off by...Eddie?
He jumps in front of me and I'm surprised. Shocked even.
"OH EDDIE!" I scream and hug him. From behind his neck I see Luna standing there awkwardly. I glare at her to get her attention and then look to the three girls. She nods and nonchalantly goes to stand by the girls to make sure they don't get away. As Eddie and I part, I see Luna crack her knuckles intimidatingly. I chuckle and look at Eddies relieved face.
I drop my voice so only he can hear, "Hey Eddie. So I haven't met Aleks yet because of some unfinished business. So can you please keep him inside until I'm done? Don't mention that I'm here either." I ask him in a breath.
He nods and grins at me. I sidestep away from him and look back at the girls. I hear Eddie pad away on the damp ground to the hospital.
