Author's Note:The song above is the song used for their performance! I feel like this song beautifully describes the event and the relationship between Amara and Laila. The lyrics are in Italics, and the English translations are unbolded. Enjoy!

The bass thumped in time with his heart beat as though they were one, filling him from head to toe with music. When Timothée arrived to the ballroom, the roar of music could be heard. He couldn't make out any words, but laughter rang in his ears and it wouldn't seem to stop. The song that was playing got louder, pulling him in and wouldn't let go. He had no choice but to join the crowd, jumping in a huddled group like Tic-Tacs being shaken in a box.

He was with his friends, minus the few that included his favourite girl, Amara. He couldn't wait to see her perform. Saoirse was just as excited as he was, because she wouldn't stop squirming beside him. Armie was chatting up with Maverick, as Elizabeth was with Jenna.

"Have you seen her?" Saoirse asked.

"Amara? No, I haven't!" he replied, yelling over the noise of the crowd.

"No, not Amara. Grace! She got me wheezing when she posted that photo of her," Saoirse replied, fanning herself to cool down. Timothée laughed at his highly infatuated friend and realised, she was just like him. A minute ago, he too was wheezing the same way when he saw Amara's tweeted photo.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" A man, dressed in a brilliant navy blue sherwani stepped up onto the round stage that was placed in the middle of the ballroom. He had to be tonight's host, Timothée figured.

"Kya tum log ek achchhee raat ho?" he asked. The crowd erupted into a roar.

"Nahin, not good enough," he spoke in English, his thick Indian accent could be heard.

"I'll ask again, are you guys having a good night?" This time, men and ladies alike, cheered, louder than before.

"That's the spirit! Theek hai, does anyone know why we're here tonight?" he questioned the deafening audience.

"Sangeet ho bhai!" a guest responded, already dancing around, causing everyone to laugh, which encouraged him even further. Timothée clapped along to the beat and watched as the man continued dancing, slowly being joined by others around him. That went on until the announcer spoke again.

"That's right, it's sangeet night! Now, we have lined up performances by our very own guests. And these performances are of course, dedicated to our bride and groom, ladies and gents. Let's hear it for the loving couple!"

As soon as he announced the arrival of the couple, Timothée watched as the spotlights lit up, revealing Laila and Dev in matching bridal outfits. They looked incredible, he had to admit that, but his eyes were still searching for Amara.
