[Abigails POV]

A light knock on the front door downstairs pulled me out of my deep thoughts and I climbed out of bed, lazily throwing my hair up and jogging down the stairs to open the door. Swinging the door open, I expected to see someone stood on the doorstep, I was shocked to be met with an empty driveway. I looked down and my eyes fixated on a small pink envelope. As I quickly picked up the envelope, I double-checked outside to see who left it, but there was no one.

I slumped down on the living room sofa and ripped open the envelope to reveal a small note that read;
Morning princess,
Get dressed and ready for tonight and then flip over this note for your first clue.
Love, M x

I raised my brow as my eyes scanned over the note for a second time and as much as I had the sudden urge to flip over the note and read my clue, I decided to obey by the rules and go and get ready. 

After applying my makeup and getting all dressed up, I realised I had no clue what Monty was actually making me do before this party tonight. I felt overdressed for just stepping outside so I decided to throw a hoodie on over the top and call it a day. Running my fingers through my hair, I took one last glance into the mirror before deciding to finally read my first clue;

Clue 1-
"Fries are the best food ever!"

My eyebrows knotted together as I tried to work out when Monty or I had ever said that. I mean the phrase wasn't wrong, fries are the best food ever. A thought popped into my head, on Monty and Is first date we had fries and milkshakes. We both spoke about how good food is and of course I said fries are the best food ever. I jumped off of the sofa and grabbed my belongings, jogging towards my car.
