13.

There he sat, gazing over at Minghao who was seated in front of him, over his cup of pumpkin spice latte. It was all so perfect, in that little moment. 

Minghao stopped staring at Wonwoo and Mingyu, who were busying themselves with talking about Wonwoo's love for books which took all Mingyu's attention. Junhui caught Minghao's eyes as soon as the younger stopped listening and he felt heat creeping up to his face.

But instead, Minghao just smiled at him, sipping his cup of coffee. 

The little cafe where they were seemed so magical, since it was already dark outside. Light cable's with little yellow lights on it hung all around the place, soft relaxing music playing in the back. A few bright led signs on the walls, who were also covered with posters and photographs. The four of them were seated in one of the corners right next to a big window. 

"So, how does it taste?"

Junhui felt as if Minghao pulled him out of his daydream and he felt confused. 

"Huh? What are you-" But as soon as Minghao nudged to his coffee he got it. If he had the chance to smack his head against a wall he would've done it. You stupid ass.. "Oh! That!" He laughed a bit awkward as he scratched the nape of his neck. "It's really good, how is yours?" 

Minghao seemed to have a lot of fun in Junhui's silly action. "That's what happens when you zone out, silly." There it was again, that word that drove Junhui insane as soon as it left Minghao's lips. Silly. "But mine is good too. We should go here more often!" 

As if he couldn't be more nervous. Minghao asked him to go there more often? That ment he wanted to spend more of his time with him.. God, how much harder could the younger make it for him?!

"Can the two of you be even more cheesier? It seems as if I'm looking at one of those match making shows." Mingyu suddenly interrupted the two. Junhui didn't even notice the two stopped talking after Mingyu seemed so caught up in Wonwoo's words. 

He felt how his cheeks turned crimson color and he quickly sipped his coffee. Minghao just easily laughed it off as he pointed out Mingyu, who was seated next to him. "You wanted to say that you and Wonwoo are less cheesy?" In which Mingyu's cheeks also turned red. Wonwoo just sipped his coffee, hiding his shyness and looking aside just to see a Junhui who felt exactly the same. .

Junhui leaned forward and whispered in his ear: "I think your boyfriend just got shy" luckily silent enough so the other two didn't heard it. 

"Yah!" Wonwoo put down his coffee and slapped Junhui against his shoulder, hearing a loud thud as Junhui started laughing at his best friend's move. "I'll kill you as soon as I get the chance!" 

"You shouldn't do that!" Mingyu interrupted the two, even though he didn't completely understand their conversation. "I think his boyfriend isn't going to like that." As he put the emphasis on the word 'boyfriend' what made Minghao choke on his coffee and ended up leaving him coughing his lungs out. 

For some reason Junhui couldn't help but to keep on laughing, not feeling shy about it anymore. Even Wonwoo and Mingyu started laughing after Junhui couldn't stop laughing and Minghao kept on coughing. 

"Why are you all like this! Goddamn!" Minghao shouted out as soon as he stopped coughing, trying to keep in the laughter he has been holding back the whole time. Junhui had to hold on to his tummy, that started to hurt from all the laughter and he wiped away the tears that rolled over his cheeks. He didn't expected it to get this funny. 

It only made things worse when he saw how Minghao took a sip of his coffee, still acting grumpy.  Junhui threw his head into his neck at the sight of Minghao. He couldn't help but to keep laughing because of how cute he looked at that moment. Most of the times he would've just secretly admired it and made himself shy by staring at all his perfect features whenever he did the slightest things. But now, he just couldn't stop laughing because he felt so good. 

As if he didn't needed to impress himself to Minghao, because he was here together with him. Wonwoo and Mingyu would also make such a good couple. It all felt too good to be real. The two others also laughing along, mostly because of Junhui. And finally.. Minghao joined them, also not holding back any of his laughter any more. He leaned forward, just to slab Junhui playfully high up his chest. Which made Junhui lift his arms in protection.

"I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He squealed afterwards, earning more laughter from the other. 

"It's not even that funny Hui!" 

His complete stomach filled with a cyclone of aggressive butterflies after hearing the nickname Minghao gave him. Hui? HUI?! It made his laughing a little less, since the butterfly feeling inside him took it over. 

He wiped away the remaining tears that were left on his face and calmed down his heavy breathing. "God, I'm dying." 

"I was dying for really! Dummy! I choked on my goddamn coffee!" Minghao yelled out, even though he wasn't being serious, heard by the laughter that was still coming from him. 

"Ahw, look at our just married couple, fighting over some coffee already." Mingyu said silently to Wonwoo,  but just hard enough for the two to hear it. 

"They're so cute together, aren't they." Wonwoo replied playful to him. The two looked at each other and started laughing. 

"Yah!" Minghao hit Mingyu on his shoulder, hard enough for Mingyu to grab it and yell back. Not that it stopped the two from laughing. "Take it easy big gay." Which only made him laugh harder. 

Junhui couldn't stop admiring the scene infront of him. Minghao who kept on laughing secretly because, even though he tried his best not to admit it, he thought it was funny. Mingyu and Wonwoo, who already seemed like a couple. He could notice at everything that Mingyu was totally into Wonwoo. And Wonwoo was happier than ever before. 

The cafe stayed filled with their laughters for the rest of the evening..

So here's my first chapter of the new decade!
