2 Months Later.

Deceit had disappeared for four months, when he was back at school he was mute and more afraid of everything than before.

Virgil had completely changed, as did Remus and Logan. The first two were getting into fights every two minutes and the last wasn't able to stay focused in class any longer.

Remus, Virgil, and Logan had been thrown to the bottom of the social ladder. Logan finally understood what Deceit had meant when he said you don't miss something until it's gone.

Roman and Patton had convinced the school to give the three outcasts the silent treatment so no one ever talked to them.

The only socializing in school for them was when either Remus or Virgil got into fights.

Roman had spread rumors about Deceit and Virgil, anyone who said anything nice about them was pummeled to the ground.

Remus's home was a battlefield. Every step he took, every meal he ate, Roman was there, watching and waiting for him to slip up.

After two months of disappearing deceit had come back from a home to the orphanage.

The lady beat him for coming back. He didn't scream as he was used to it. That made her whip him harder.

He helped nearly all the children either escape or get a good home.

He would act terrible in a home that would last for a week or so then have a kid he told to act good appear when they were taking him back.

Nearly everytime they took one of those kids.

The kids would smile and wave back at him. Thankful for him. Thankful he had put up with the beating to get them a home.

Three out of the twelve children were dead within the first days of being there.

Another two died within two weeks.

Four were killed after a month.

Leaving three out of the twelve children alive. And it was deceit's fault they were dead.

Everyone believed Deceit to be dead, Remus and Virgil began to date because of it.

Patton broke up with Logan and began to date Roman.

Deceit wanted to die. But he was always the one who somehow survived.

Why was the world making him suffer?
