Deceit was cleaning the house as hi parents instructed when they turned on the TV.
He listened in as he was never allowed to watch TV unless they were watching it.
"...at 4:30 pm today, there was a car crash." Deceit stopped moving.
He looked up at the TV. "One died, the other four are in the hospital recovering from minor injuries."
They put a picture of the one who died on the screen and his parents gave a sickening grin and a horrible comment
"One less brat in the house."
Deceit fell to the ground and began sobbing. "B-but y-you prom-mised you would stay!" he sobbed.
Everything was crumbling down around him.
There was no one who would care about him anymore.
"shut up boy!" he was kicked in the side and curled up.
The attacks kept coming. Side, head, stomach, back, repeat.
But he couldn't care at the moment.
He only had one thought that plagued his mind.
Why did you lie to me?
