"Why not? It's my phone... I've read his messages before and if it's getting you this worked up then-"
"Ally don't read it."
He said turning to me angrily, but he wasn't angry at me. I frowned.

"Let me see your hand."
I said taking a step towards him.

"It's fine."

"Chris just let me see it.."

I said seriously. He didn't move.

"I told you it's fine. I promise."
He said sounding honest but I was still worried.

I quickly embraced him in a hug, wrapping my arms around him and burying my face in his chest.

 "Is everything okay?"
I heard Nick's voice ask causing me to turn around fast. He was standing in the door way.

"Nothing I can't handle."

Chris said and I turned to face him.

"Chris you better not do anything stupid."
I said sternly.

"Me? Stupid? Come on."

He said half smiling.

"I mean it. Remember, we're just going to ignore it."

I said putting my hands on my hips.

 "I can't promise you anything."

He said and I frowned.

"I swear to god-"

"Chris what's going on?"
Nick asked worriedly.

I looked at Chris quickly, shaking my head no for him not to tell Nick anything.

"I can't tell you man... I'm sorry."
Chris said sounding hurt. They probably tell eachother everything and I'm just the stupid girlfriend hurting their friendship! Ugh..

"Oh... alright."
Nick said and then stepped out of the room.

"Nick wait!"

I called quickly, he walked back in.

"You can tell him Chris."
I said with a sigh and then quickly left the room...

Once I was far enough away I unlocked my phone and clicked on the message.

From: Matt

You think you can just tell people what happened?! I'm going to break your neck and finish what I couldn't in the woods Alison. You can't just disrespect me like that, you can't act like you own the world. Nobody likes you at school because you're a selfish whore. Nobody would care if you died, even him, because you're just a skank. So you might as well just come back to me otherwise I'll make you.

My jaw dropped, tears stung in my eyes. 

All of a sudden his name popped onto the screen again, He's calling me.

I hit answer.

"Leave me alone."
I hissed into the phone with tears running down my cheeks.

"You know I had a nice little chat with Macy today... She's quite the character."
He said sounding amused.

"You stay away from her you pig."
I spat into the phone angrily.

"I thought we had a deal that you wouldn't tell anyone!"
He yelled into the phone making me flinch.
