Chapter 52

Sophia POV

After spending a short while outside my grumbling stomach which moves us into the bathroom, grabbing our toothbrush I stare around the bathroom, it's not too large, there's a round mirror hanged on the wall, the wall is not marble like the room but made from clay and rocks, the brown rough stone is beautiful, there's a tub at the edge of the bathroom and a  shower head at the side of the bathroom.

Do you want breakfast downstairs or at a restaurant in the city? He turns to me washing his mouth

I shrug, you've been here before?

A few times but only for work he sends me a smile, but I know my way around the city, we can visit a few places together next time we can go to-" he stops sending me a mischievous smile

I groan, I've learnt not to complain about the trips or gift, it's best to let him do what he wants but surprises that I can't deal with it, I don't have a free weekend till next week for Thanksgiving and everyone is coming to New York for the weekend so obviously we can't go anywhere that week.

Are you doing anything next weekend? I turn to him waving off his mischievousness

No I was thinking we go on another trip if am not busy he grips my waist pulling me to him

How about you come to New York with me, am already going there I shrug

He shrugs I might be busy but I'll try and make it, if I can't I'll make it up to you he pecks my cheek

I nod, we take a long bath and it's all his fault not mine, I dress up in an olive green simple cropped top hugging my body, and a pair of jean shorts and running shoes since we will be walking around not with a car which am thankful for I don't want to miss a thing.

I look over at Alex looking through his small luggage bag, a towel tied across his waist

Here I grab a white t shirt and white denim shorts passing them to him

He nods pulling on his clothes while I work my hair into a pony tail.

You look cute he comments with a smile pulling on a dark hat, thankfully not a fedora, it covers his face and only if you look closely then you will totally know he's prince Eric

Thank you I send him a smile grabbing his hand in his, the hotel has a few people roaming around when we walk down the stairs I don't know when the guards join us but I notice them, this time he leads me to double brown doors the glass door shows a beautifully garden the light reflecting on different flowers.

I wince at the sun and so does Alex

We can get shades in town he tells me leading me to the outdoor restaurant, white and brown umbrellas protect the fancy table sets, only a few people are out and about seating and eating, he leads me to a seat near a small fountain with a statue a baby hugging some kind of horn.

I stare across at Alex with a smile, we are seated next to a few people I would think he would keep us at the lonely corner so people don't recognize him but he barely pays attention to them, the waiter comes with the menu and I let him pick my breakfast.

Aren't you concerned I lean across the table

Concerned? He's eyes raise to meet mine

People will recognize you and you're with me I say calmly

They can recognize me all they want he growls lowly, I don't care Soph

But-" before I can say anything the waiter comes back with our meal
