One foot, then the other, one foot, then the other, one foot, then the other.

I watched my shoes as they carried my feet across the stick covered ground.

"You sure you know where you're going?" I mumble, at this point not knowing where we were exactly heading.

"For the tenth time, yes!"

This bitch sits on a throne of lies.

"Ok."
At this point, I really just wanna give up;
but no because Natalie knows where we're going even though we've probably been going in circles for three weeks straight.

It's fucking snowing!
I wouldn't be fucking surprised if it was already Christmas!

I do have the pill bottle in my bag... I could just...

No! You won't.

"Um, Jamie?"

"What?"

"Remember when I said I knew where I was going?"

"Yes, you've been reminding me every five fucking seconds... how
could I possibly forget?"
Please say that we're almost there, please say that we're almost there...

"Well... guess what...
we're lost... I lied...
Yay!"
I looked up at Natalie, watching her looking around in panic.

"BITCH I KNEW IT!
We should've just stayed
at the cabin!
But no, we just had to go!
I knew it, I knew it, I knew-"

"WE GET IT!
You knew it!
Now be fucking quiet or you'll get us killed by god knows what!"
Natalie rolled the sleeves of my sweater up her muscular arms.

Yep. She was still wearing it.

And I'm freezing to death but that's ok! (No it's not!)

"Ok so... what now?"
I look around but the only things I see is mist, darkness, shrubs, trees...
and more tees.

"You sure you don't have a map?
Or secret trail you kept that-"

"No! No I don't!"
Natalie was practically pulling her hair out of her head.

"Okay, fine, calm down!"
I manage to get out through chattering teeth.
Natalie took in deep rigid breaths, slowly peeling her hands away from her head.

"I... this... shit!
This place looks familiar... but I don't know."
Her voice audibly shaking.

"Well, maybe you should at least try to retrace your steps?
Either that or we both die from hypothermia; me a little faster."
I rub my hands together for warmth, but I felt absolutely numb,
along with the feeling of dampness.

"Hey, do you want your sweater back?"
Natalie approached me.

"Nah, you're wearing a tank top, you'll die in minutes."

"But I don't want you to stay cold."
Both of Natalie's hands grabbed mine, I could barely feel anything though.
She put my hands in between her's and held them tight.
