I bet you'd think after what happened at my mom's job that the date would go perfect right? I mean, I damn sure did! I was fangirling like hell squealing like I don't know what when I read that page of her journal. My dad had to come in laughing at me but tearing up and smiling at the same time. Why? He came in to check on me like any father would and him hearing me happy for once since my mom passed got to him. He was glad I was in a way moving on and moving forward. Truth was, I wasn't quite there yet... I just had that journal to cheer me up and help ease the pain of her being gone. Anyway, enough of me! How did my parents' first date end up not so perfect? One word: Rihanna. She was in town and decided to go to the hottest new restaurant that just opened and dad took mom there to impress her. Let's just say that didn't go too well...

The shoot with Nicki turned out great! It happened to include Drake and Tyga two new Young Money rappers and it shocked me because Drake was Jimmy on Degrassi. You know, the one who got shot and paralyzed during the school shooting that shocked everyone. I don't watch the show but at one point it was all everyone was talking about and the media mentioned it too. How he started off on Degrassi to being signed to YMCMB that is. Anyway, with that over with I was on my way home. Why? My boss was really impressed at how I worked under that last minute pressure. I passed his test!
The photo shoot couldn't start without them so it was all on me to get their looks together. They had to like it, it had to look good on them, AND compliment what I picked out already for Nicki so it wasn't easy. I pulled it off though and man was I happy about that. As I'm in my car stopping at the Taco Bell closest to my place, I couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Chris and that fact he actually asked me out! I was nervous as hell especially because that date was TONIGHT! What was I gonna wear and do to my hair? What about make-up, if I even wear any?! This calls for my best friend to come to the rescue. I may even call EJ just because he'll cheer me up and keep me from being so nervous.
I guess I'm calling Seiko and EJ then so after I got my food and paid for it, I rushed home to call them. There was no point in doing a three-way call on my cell if I was almost home anyway. With that said, I get inside after hopping out my car and locking it behind me and as I take a bite out of my chalupa I grab the house phone calling Seiko, then EJ. "Heyyyyy Kae! What's up girl?! How are you and Chris," Seiko asked. "Right! Has he dicked you down yet?!" That had both me and Seiko ROLLING! Typical EJ! Always got straight to the point. I still love him though!
