Morgan...

I have been trying to figure out what to say to this man for the pass ten minutes. I am speechless. It seems like my mouth cannot form a coherent sentence.

All that I have been able to mutter is 'huh?'.

"Are you drunk calling me, Chris?", I muttered into the phone.

It is a little after one in the morning. Jahmil is at work on duty tonight so it is just Chance and I.

"Why'd you fuck me up like this, woman?", He responded slurring his words slightly.

"Chris-", I began only for him to interrupt me.

"It's Christopher. You call me Christopher", he muttered lowly.

I let our a sigh. I turned my head looking to a sleeping Chance. My baby is getting so big. He is crawling.

Chris and I relationship is still strained. Which is why I am so surprised that he called me of all people.

"Chris, why-"

"No, it's Christopher. You call me Christopher", he yelled into my ear startling me.

Sighing again I rolled my eyes.

"Christopher, why did you call me? You got a whole girlfriend you should of called", I whispered.

He hummed, the sound of fabric rustling could be heard.

"You are my girlfriend, bae", he slurred.

"No, Karrueche is", I denied.

He scoffed, "You still bae, baby. I want you", he muttered.

I shook my head glancing at the clock again.

"Chris, call Karrueche. You are hella confused", I dismissed.

"Why you not wit' me? We 'posed to be forever. I got ya name tatted over my heart. Why you go, bae?", He slurred.

Again, I was speechless. When did this happen? Why is he doing this to me? I am happy. I want him to be happy too, but he is being selfish. He acts as if I am the only one that could make him happy. He is putting me in an uncomfortable position.

"Chris, yo-"

"Christopher"

"Yeah, Christopher. Christopher, you need to go to sleep. It is late an-"

"Why won't you talk to me? Baby, i'm sorry. I'm sorry, bae. Come over, please? Please, come get me? I'm out front", he slurred desperately.

I frowned. He could not be.

"I'm in the yard in my car. Do I gotta blow da horn fa ya to belee me? Honk! Honk! Bae", he said into the phone before there was a loud honking sound from outside.

Carefully climbing out of bed so I would not wake our son or disturb my baby in my stomach, I made my way downstairs after securing Chance in bed. Being careful on the stairs I power walked over to the front door snatching it open while the honking continued.
