But then a reader suggested not doing either and like Change it...
So instead of doing something boring like Jace telling Clary he has to leave to go to college...I decided to create an ending that would leave you angry and shocked lol.

I just thought it would be more shocking..because the title and the vibe of the book is like cutesy and like "ohhh! Its summer love! It's sweet and nice and amazing"
