I sat amidst a table full of conversation in my own muffled out zone, watching others laugh and drink whilst I sat back in my seat with my leg crossed over, tapping my foot as I clasped my glass of wine. I then noticed the people around Marshall were starting to get up to let him out. As he straightened up he looked at me with the most disgusted look he'd ever gave to me, what had I done so wrong? I'd been sat here for I'd say a good half hour without interacting with anyone and just joking in in pointless laughs at unfunny jokes,

"Come with me a minute" He demanded and I really didn't want to argue with him, plus he had such a powerful energy around him when he was angry and it was very intimidating. As I stood Dina mouthed "good luck", I smiled nervously at her whilst collecting my bag, I did it quickly because I could see he was stood waiting for me impatiently. I smoothed my hair over as I walked uncomfortably up to him, he kept two paces in front of me, making me feel like a follow on, and bit by bit the scared feeling was being itched away and replaced by anger, what the fuck was his problem?

"Marshall?" I called him out, he didn't turn around so I raised my voice,
"Marshall!" that caught his attention,

"What?" He stressed as he walked with his shoulders,

"Where are we going?" I cleared my throat and caught up to him,

"My car, we need to talk" He spoke coldly.

The bright flashes didn't even disturb me at this point, I was getting too angry in Marshall's bad vibe, he was ruining a good night for me. I'd never gotten to experience anything like this and he wanted to shit all over it, or so it seemed. I remembered a time that I used to like his angry vibe but experiencing it first hand was something totally different.

"What's wrong with you?" I couldn't hold my tongue as the door was closed behind me, we were launched from loud hustle and bustle into dead silence,

"Whats wrong with me?!" He raised his voice, "Whats wrong with you!" Instantly my eyes dampened at the intensity of his voice,

"I don't understand?"

"Fuck you, you don't understand. Batting your motherfuckin' eyelids at Obie in there, you don't think i saw you?" Wow!

"What? I was..."

"You was what?! Just being friendly?" He mocked childishly,
"Bull...shit" He said in a really undermining way, almost touching my nose with his. I couldn't speak, the lump in my throat was building, why was he being like this with me?

"I'm... I'm sorry" I stuttered,
"I didn't think I was doing anything wrong?" He just sat and looked out of the window laughing under his breath at my reply,

"Don't play that stupid ass shit with me Jodie. I saw you digging your eyes into Mariah when I spoke to her, so you know how it feels"

"Whats that got to do with anything?"

"What's that gotta do with anything? I say hi to some female and you don't like that, so for one fucking minute listen to what the fuck I'm saying to you, how the FUCK do you think I'm feeling, seeing my girl all up on Obie like that, doing that stupid flirty lil' giggle like all you sluts know how to do so well! You was sat there with him! Not me!"

"YOU WASNT THERE! I day where I could! He sat next to ME! I was never fucking flirting with him Marshall I swear!"

"YO FUCK YOU!"

"What the fuck have I done so wrong?!!" I was ready to fight the jealous bastard now!

"Just shut the fuck up! And when we get back to my place you can stay in your own motherfuckin' room, I can't wait for you to be gone!" His words shot me down, I'd never seen him so angry or hurt. And just in that split second of me now falling apart silently, the door opened and Dina was stood peering into the car,
