"Hello, uh Mr. Kim?" Jungkook said into his phone

"What did I tell you? I'm Taehyung!"

"Sorry about that sir. Is everything okay?"

"Actually, I heard the news that you are stuck on the sidewalk."
"Sorry about that I will catch an Uber and be there soon."

"Don't call!"
"What do you mean sir?"

"Don't call that Uber! I'm on my way."
"What? Where?"
"I'm coming to pick you up."

"Taehyung, it's okay. I can walk."

"I'm already in my car. I'll see you in 5 minutes."
"Uh okay thank you, Mr. Kim. Sorry, sorry I meant Taehyung."

The call ended and Jungkook sat down on a bench near him. A girl about his age came up to him about a few minutes later.

"Sir are you okay? Do you need a ride?" she asked

"No, I'm okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes thank you." Jungkook bowed as the girl walked away

A few seconds later his boss's car drove up to the sidewalk. At first, Jungkook was specifically nervous if it wasn't him but as the window rolled down it revealed his favorite coworker. But in reality, he was his boss. But he was developing these feelings... no. He can't be.

"Hey Taehyung, thank you for the ride. I could've just walked."

"No, no. It's okay. I wouldn't want you getting your new shoes dirty."

"How did you know they were new?"

"Just a feeling."

As soon they got to the asphalt parking lot, there Lisa was. Just waiting for her "boyfriend" to get here.

"Jungkook! How the hell did you get here? I specifically told you," she stood in shock for a few seconds then spoke again but this time retreating to the stairs, "Mr. Kim, I apologize for my language. I will get right back to work."

"Lisa, right?" Taehyung asked

"Yes, sir,"

"I would like you to leave Mr. Jeon alone please."

"You can't keep me away from him, he's my boyfriend."

"Well, you're a horrible girlfriend. Leaving him out in the streets to walk to work? I know, I know, first world problems, but he deserves better than whatever that is." he said pointing at Lisa. Jungkook was in disbelief that his crush. Uh, the boss would say that for him.

"Thank you, Taehyung. I really appreciate it." Jungkook said

"Stay away from her. I can just tell, things will not go well with her."

Jungkook started walking up the stairs to the grey glass door.

"Jungkook, where are you going?" Taehyung asked

"Uh to work, sir."
"One lay off the sir. Two we're going out."

"Huh?! What?"
"You heard me. Let's go."
